The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are old, but had everything we needed. The self serve breakfast was cereal and toast which was adequate. We had dinner at the pub and the food was fantastic! The service provided by the staff was brilliant.

The bed. It slept very well. And the lady of the house was very very nice and helpful. The place is quite and the lake is at the corner to take a lovely walk.

Comfortable bed, use of microwave and self catering, would have liked a toaster. Liked large shower cubical. Didn't like that we had no hot water throughout the day or evening in the sinks. Liked the view of the lake. Didn't like lifting microwave out of a bottom cupboard onto worksurface would be better mounted on a shelf. Didn't like broken cutlery. Didn't like Netflix constantly shutting down due to the tuner being overloaded couldn't watch a film through without it shutting down every 5 minutes.

Loughrea is nice small town with beautiful lake which is perfect for swimmers even in the winter time. Lots of scenic spots for photo shoot. Walking distance to the main points and good coffee in Java's 17.

Loved the history of the town. We walked all over.
Loved the history of the town. We walked all over. So impressed how they have preserved the history and not just knock buildings over to accommodate new construction. The people are the best, the friendliness and helpfulness was great!

The lake in Loughrea is a must to see as it is full of swans and ducks. There is a safe play area at the lake for the children to play whilst the adults can enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are plenty of places in the town to have a coffee and chill out.

Nice area. Nice views when you walk around the lake.
Nice area. Nice views when you walk around the lake. A few places to enjoy lunch and dinner but some places needed to be pre-booked in advance , due to covid 19 restrictions. Has a few nice clothes shops with some nice pieces.
Hotel is very worn and equipment in the room we had was old. Example here might be shower which is very hard to use.
It was very cold in the room, especially in the morning. Looks like heating for guestrooms was turned on in the evening only.
I would question cleanness of the room. Again it's down to expectation but for example getting a white towel with yellow spots is disgusting for me.
It wasn't cheap.
Gorgeous location with lovely comfy beds & absolutley fantastic breakfast. Will definitley stay again. Caroline is pleasant & helpful very friendly staff at Gordons. Quiet & cosy, peaceful location outside Loughrea. There is a kitchenette well equipped with delph & microwave/ toaster etc which was helpful. Very welcoming & helpful with directions & information. We loved it!
A lovely small, family run hotel 3km outside Loughrea town.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and hardworking.
Even under pressure, they performed their duties to a very high standard.
The room was large, comfortable, clean and the ensuite was very good.
Wifi in the hotel is very good through.
Breakfast is included.
The food at this venue is excellent.
This is an exceptionally nice facility. Rooms are modern and clean. Nice to have a tub in bathroom. Parking was convenient and on-site restaurant with wonderful, tasty options was appreciated. Staff in hotel and restaurant were courteous and helpful. Elevator was nice, especially for elderly guests!
What a fantastic place to stay when visiting Loughrea and Galway is only 30 minutes away.
The location is fantastic and Dolores is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with great tips for sight seeing in the local area.
I cannot recommend this property enough and would definitely stay there again.
Fantastic hotel and I can highly recommend it. Hotel and room were clean and in great condition. We ate at the restaurant and the food was outstanding, including the homemade desserts. The hotel is easy to get to and located about 20 minutes outside of Galway.
Fantastic 3 bedroom house with great views of Loughrea countryside. The hosts were super quick with any questions we had before our arrival and helpful during our stay. Short drive to the town. We would gladly stay there again on a future visit!
We loved our stay at Loughrea and Ursula was a fabulous hostess and the rooms were absolutely great as was the pub that was recommended to us for evening meal. Would definately recommend to others.

we stayed 2 nights as attending a wedding at the hotel. The staff were all amazing and very welcoming, the hotel was modern and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Practically everything. The hotel's facilities almost cancelled out my wife's walking disability. We were a bit late due to this in coming down for breakfast.
