The location was great as is Belmullet. Joe was very warm and welcoming; very informative too. Great recommendations re what to see and esp McDonnell's bar, a very friendly and entertaining pub with great customers, bartender and landlord. The pod itself was warm, quiet and comfortable.

it all went well, reception staff were reasonable, bar staff were great, very helpful.
It is quiet. We stayed in the village of Bohola. There is not much. Two bars, a convenience store, a church, a community center, homes and a cemetery. That's it. The Inn has a great bar. No food short of bar snacks available. Things are cheap in Bohola. It is more locals than tourists, so the experience is truly authentic Irish. The bartender is great, and the crowd is fun.
