The place was lovely, great location (ESPECIALLY FOR TRAD MUSIC) and a great host. It said it did not provide breakfast but there was lovely fresh soda bread, jam and milk (after a long journey that was much appreciated). I enjoyed speaking to the owner and her daughter. When entering the place (and after their had been a LOT of rain) I would mention that it smelt slightly damp. But there was an excellent heater (so much so that I actually took the name of it) and really in minutes the place was as warm as toast and very, very comfortable. In the night the fitted sheet came off the bed and reattaching that corner I had to lift the mattress which showed me that under the bed was not as clean as everywhere else was. But, would I stay there again? Yes!

I chose this booking based on pets being allowed. It was lovely. There's a tidy kitchen, good living area downstairs, beds are comfortable and the heat was turned on with the rainy weather.
Easy access to the beach for a short walk, about a 10 minute drive from Miltown Malbay village for coffee/pubs/groceries and a 40 minute drive to the Cliffs of Moher.
The hosts are welcoming, kind, helpful and available, even met me in town when I got turned around. They also had great input when to visit the Cliffs.

Location in Miltown Malbay was excellent, and the house itself is tucked away, nice and quite. We met Patricia on arrival, she was very friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size, and very clean. On the morning we left, Patricia and Gerry went out of their way to make sure we were looked after with a pleasant and plentiful continental breakfast.
Just off the beach in Lahinch, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi, a seasonal fitness centre and a pool. Lahinch championship golf course is just a 5-minute walk away.

Staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive snd helpful. The dinner and buffet breakfast were both very good, with a good range of options. The car park is very conveniently located next to the hotel. Our room had a nice view across the bay.
Perfect cosy clean apartment - beautifully finished - the best place we stayed of our trip. Easy check in, friendly communication from hosts. Lots of thoughtful touches and the apartment is really well equipped

We self-catered during our stay, so didn't get to experience any restaurants or pubs in Miltown Malbay. The SuperValu conveniently close to our apartment had great quality and variety of locally-sourced food and could be used for parking when visiting the city center.
The location is convenient to both the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren.

We ate in The Bake House.
We ate in The Bake House. Friendly Professional Staff and good food. Fresh Fish Specials. Temporary outdoor area did the job. Met a Local truck driver when leaving the next morning for" Banner Steel" who was rude obnoxious and used foul language and jumped to an incorrect conclusion that I was from Dublin as I was in a rental car. I even called the company to see if they could get him to back up 10 meters so about six cars could get past. The Company was no help saying and I quote. Sort it out among yourself. The Driver refused saying I'm not f'ing moving I'm in no hurry, so six cars had to back up 50 meters over a hill to get traffic moving. I even called the local Police Station and they were unavailable at 10 am in the morning. Will not be rushing back anytime soon to Milltown Malbay. Willie Clancy would be turning over in his grave, and I actually met the man

Better music than Doolin!
Better music than Doolin! Music every night in different pubs and great food to be had! The gorgeous Cliffs of Clare go on and on and surpass the Cliffs of Moher! Milltown Malbay is central for touring all of Co. Clare.

This is a great spot right in the middle of town - walkable to everything. The hotel was just as advertised and our room was very spacious. Our host was wonderful and met us at the property to let us in, etc. Nice outdoor area in the rear to enjoy the evening. Our host gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner which was just a few doors down and then we walked to his pub which had live music and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice coffee shop directly across the street for a morning pick me up.
Gill and Alan were the perfect hosts - so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location was great, the spacious room had fantastic views and breakfast was delicious with a great selection to choose from including fresh fruit and homemade pastries and bread. We really enjoyed our stay at Journey's End and Miltown Malbay. Thank you!
Lovely accommodations in close proximity (about 30 mins) from the cliffs. Our host met us right when we arrived to show us the Pod. Having fresh bread and milk/coffee/tea left for us was a wonderful bonus! Our two little ones loved staying in the Pod and eating in the outdoor seating area for breakfast. Highly recommend.
Gill and Alan were the best hosts. They were very personable and welcoming to us in their home. Gill makes the best coffee cake we have ever had and Alan's sourdough bread is out of this world. Their accommodations were clean and more than we had hoped for. They are the nicest people and very gracious hosts.
The location is excellent. It’s just a walk away from a little pitch and putt course which the kids loved walking down to. It’s very near the Armada hotel and a walk into Milltown Malbay where the festival was on. The house is clean and very spacious. Ideal for two families.
Visiting for a family wedding in nearby hotel. House was ideal for our family group.
Big enough that we could all stay together - 7 of us. The house was really well fitted out and the owner left lots of little extras, bread and milk, toiletries and more
I Normally dont stay in b and bs but with the price of hotels I say I would look and I'm glad I did. its a fabulous size room and modern house with fantastic views.. Breakfast spot on nicest home made bread and porridge I ever had. Hosts very friendly .
An excellent and comfortable location within short walking distance of Miltown Malbay, a lovely town of rich musical heritage. Mary and her family greet their hosts with a warm and generous welcome. I’ll look forward to returning!
Could not ask for a better location. 5 minute walk down to the beach. 10/15 minute drive to lahinch. Cottage us right beside the hotel so convenient to get food or drinks. The cottage itself has decent space
The Townhouse has a great location beside lots of good places to eat & drink. The room was roomy with great beds and Very comfortable if simple! Staff and owner were lovely ….Great stay overall!
Miltown Malbay perfect location for getting to cliffs of moher, kilkee beach, lahinch, Spanish point etc. House in a lovely quiet estate of holiday homes. Felt very relaxed and safe there.
Very comfortable self catering accommodation. A short walk from the town centre and close to the main supermarket. A very nice two floor apartment with smart TVs on each floor.
Exceptional hospitality for a truly authentic experience on the west coast of Ireland. Cathal, the owner was kind, generous and accommodating. I will certainly stay again.
