Lovely new appartement. Everything in there was chosen with care. Spotless clean and whatever is needed for a stay there is available. The host is very friendly and so is the family dog :-) We had a really good stay over there and would book it again.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Templemacateer provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi.

Warm and helpful welcome with good restaurant tip, very comfortable room and lovely garden. Cosy fireplace in the evening. Very good breakfast (full Irish). We were even shown the pigs and piglets at the farm.

Beautiful B&B, right in the middle of the town centre. Reception staff is very nice and professional.
I had much fun with my boyfriend here.
I'll definitely choose this place again in the future.
A charming little town with all the necessary amenities,...
A charming little town with all the necessary amenities, nice cafes (e.g. Lily Mae's), very friendly people and live music in the pubs (e.g. Peader's Bar) at the weekend. A great place to stay and use as a base to explore other places in Ireland. Atlhone is only 20 minutes away by car and is also a lovely town.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Village BnB. Gael and her family, including her 2 dogs, Oscar and Zoe, were so friendly and accommodating to both ourselves and our two dogs. The accommodation was perfect, very cozy and homely. We especially enjoyed an evening by the fire pit relaxing under the stars. The location was ideal also with many walks in close proximity and a short driving distance to both Moate and Athlone with an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.
Easy to find, with an awkward little parking lot out back, but they did have parking! The dining hall had an excellent dinner. The bar is ok, but no WiFi. It does have a nice big screen. Everyone was nice and polite. The breakfast area is too hot, while the lobby is nice and breezy. Nothing fancy in the rooms, but it's clean. Right on the main road through town. For drinks turn right out the lobby and go a few steps to P EGAN bar. Great folks.
I could have stayed forever. Kind and attentive service was great. Of course the breakfast was fantastic, quality food. But meeting all of you and Joe, the live DJ and dancing after the kids receiving their results for school/college was fantastic. The early morning walk, the familial flavor of Moate! The park was beautiful. Thank you for so much hospitality and authentic connections. Shauna.
The bookings.com genius awards free continental breakfast was a lovely bonus. Everything was perfect and very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Westmeath. the apartment had everything we needed and more. Thank you Village B & B for making our stay a comfortable and enjoyable one.
If you book you will not be disappointed.
