Rachel was the highlight: she went beyond the call of duty to ensure all of my needs were taken care of - she is the reason why I rate An Cheibh 10/10 rather than 6/10 without Rachel.

Ann was very welcoming and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Location was stunning about half hour out of Galway.
The property was spotlessly clean and bedrooms were lovely with all the amenities you could need.
Ann went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely cottage in a great location, with easy access to lovely beaches, viewpoints and not too far from Kylemore Abbey - which I highly recommend to visit. Dogs Bay beach is a must on anyones list visiting Connemara, it’s truly breathtaking. This family trip was to celebrate our dad’s 75th birthday. We loved our stay in the cottage - it’s private, very cozy and we felt right at home. Kitchen is well equipped, property was clean and beds were comfortable. There’s a shop for essential groceries next to the house, and the local pub is just 3 min from the cottage. We did a bigger food shop in Galway before heading there, I recommend to do the same if planning to cook and not eat out. Conall was very responsive, a great host. All instructions were sent well in advance, and our checkin/checkout was very smooth, we had no issues while staying there. Lovely touch was to find a basket of muffins on arrival that we fully enjoyed. Lovely cottage, would happily stay there again
