It was busier and bigger than I expected but offered all needed. The Swords Express Bus service works really well. You need exact coins as no change nor card facilities are offered on the bus. Swords is the perfect destination for exploring the area; being close to the airport and for frequent trips into Dublin. It also gives easy access to the Motorway if you wish to explore a further afield.

We chose the Old Borough Hotel because it was easy distance to the airport. We have been to Wetherspoons on many occasions so know what to expect meals/drinks wise etc. Was super impressed with the hotel accommodation.

if like me you need this for a layover at Dublin Airport, don't choose this one. It's not on a bus route or walkable so you have to take a cab, which added $20 to my stay. The curtains didn't close all the way and I happened to be on the first floor looking directly at peoples cars. One of only two USB ports didn't work but thankfully one did so I could set an alarm and make it to the airport on time.

I was extremely excited to go to this hotel from the pictures that I viewed and was deeply disappointed when we arrived. Our room looked nothing like any of the photographs. I would never have stayed there if I saw the quality of the room. I will not be back.

Good place for breakfast is the Gourmet Food Parlour for dinner go to the Wine House.
Good bus services and plenty of taxis
Do not stay at the Travel Lodge near the Airport
A good place to stay is Roganstown Golf and Country Club
Spacious room and bath, with particularly nice coffee and tea facilities. The expansive pub and restaurant downstairs offers good food and drink options, with remarkably long hours. Swords village has a quaint castle, some other appealing eateries, and a pleasant riverside park. There's a bus line direct from the airport, and given the short distance, an Uber ride back was also very reasonable. So this is a significantly pleasanter stopover than you'd get from an actual airport hotel.
Lovely hotel beside Dublin airport. Excellent for early or late flight as a stopover. 12 euro from hotel to airport as the shuttle is not been used due to COVID-19. Well worth it. Bar was nice. Restaurant was busy so needs be booked. I ordered food and brought it to my room as not allowed eat at bar. Spotless room. Lovely big spacious shower. No complains and all staff very good and polite. Covid 19 rules been enforced and well run bar.
Dan was so helpful when we arrived and even called us a taxi for the following morning as this was our first day in Ireland. The room was absolutely beautiful and the little breakfast nook had everything- French press coffee, cereal, pastries, milk, butter, jam, toast, orange juice, and more. The bed was so big and comfy, the room was nice and warm and the shower was great. Thank you so much for a great stay!
First of all, the hotel is perfect, very clean and very well maintained.
Everything is perfectly indicated for key collection and room entry.
The person in charge of the hotel is very kind and professional.
It's a 10/10 all is perfect, I recommend you to go there.
What's more, the center of Dublin is about 20 minutes away by cab.
Thank you very much!
This is the cheapest hotel located close to the airport (around 15€ cab drive). Perfect if you have to stay overnight during a layover. A 30€ cab drive brings you to the center of Dublin.
Modern rooms. USB charging in the wall. Very fast and stable free wifi (with login)!
We were able to check in 3 hours earlier than the official check-in time.
This hotel is 10 minutes from Dublin airport and that's why we chose it. But it's nothing like a boring airport hotel. It's got charm and character and you can walk to several good restaurants within a few minutes. Very kind and helpful staff and bonus points for the hotel hiring Ukrainian refugees.
Basic but comfortable with easy access to Dublin Airport by public transport. The staff was exceedingly helpful. Newly refurbished areas are decorated with taste.
The property is surrounded by trees which protect it from the busy road. It was a plus to sit outside on the front lawn before our meal.
The owner was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the bus stop and travel all over this part of Ireland, switching to trains when needed. It was in a rural setting but easy to get to Swords by bus. The breakfast was great and the decor was beautiful.
Really enjoyed staying with Mary and Jimmy for our last night in Ireland before flying out of Dublin. Everything was very cozy and very convenient to the airport. Breakfast was delicious. We only regret that couldn’t have stayed longer.
Close to airport, walking distance to downtown swords, some things were older and very cute, but still very clean and comfortable. Mostly quiet hotel. Front desk was always helpful.
Swords is cute with its own castle and downtown.
Very helpful staff. The restaurant offered a wonderful menu and everything was very tasty and good! Our room was delightful and very clean. We loved how close it was to the Dublin airport, too! Pretty country. Easy to find!
We booked at Kettles due to their proximity to Dublin airport. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and they were one of the few places in Ireland that had large supportive pillows, none of the flat pancake kind.
Everything, completely exceeded my expectations, the rooms and facilities were amazing and will stay here every time I am flying from Dublin Airport going forward.
Would book this hotel in a heartbeat again 👍

This is a great hotel and brilliant value for money. It's super clean, cosy with lovely rooms and good facilities. The best of the Dublin airport hotels.
