The property is a heritage bungalow built in 1896 and has been the house for some very significant persons from history including Ms Vijay Lakshmi Pandit, Mahatma Gandhi to name a few. The opportunity to stay at such a place was a great feeling. The property is owned by Mr. Himanshu Pandey who treats all guests as family and conversations at the dining hall is nothing short of a cozy family dinner. The food is home cooked meals that does not make ones stomach heavy but when we left the property our hearts were full with joy and warmth.

Stay :- It’s a small property with limited facilities. Stay was good but they do not have in-house cooking facility.
Food :- A small restaurant type set-up is available next to the property but that is the only option available there. Kitchen does not look hygienic. Food is also bit expensive if you compare it with other parts of Uttrakhand.
Bottom line:-
It’s okay for a solo or group of 2-3 travellers but won’t recommend for family.
You can still consider this property for your stay if you choose to eat somewhere in the market.
