From the moment we walked in, greeted with a welcome drink and refreshing towel, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Polite, smiling, helpful, thoughtful.
The Oberoi is a grand old hotel with grand, traditional service and values, but brought right up to date.
Rooms were lovely and comfortable, slippers laid ready, and the pillow was like laying my head on a cloud.
Both restaurants are great and good value. Superb breakfast. Lovely pool.
