First of all the property was under renovation and we were...
First of all the property was under renovation and we were not aware of it. No small golf cars inside the property to roam and reach to other locations. Restaurant services at your room was too long and we waited almost 1.5 hrs after we order one bucket of ice. We had bugs coming inside the room as the garden side was not properly maintained. The washrooms were old and not looking clean and tidy. Bedcovers, pillow covers were also not properly cleaned. You won’t feel you were staying in a 4th star hotel. There were no male therapist for spa which was not expected as it’s a family place to stay. The amount paid compared to amenities provided seemed to be costly. They need to put a lot of efforts to bring it up to the level expected!AnanyaIndia - 8.0Scored 8.0
Chalsa has the best location.
Chalsa has the best location. We based ourselves out of Chalsa and we’re able to visit Gorumara, Jaldapara, Buxa , Bindu, the tea gardens etc all as day trips. The stay at Sinclair’s was very good and comfortable. Roads are excellent, good food available even in small joints and weather was perfect. We had our own car so it was very easy driving around. Signage’s are good and people helpful.VaishaliIndia
