The Villas had a private pool which made the stay worthwhile. My family took a break journey stop in the city and Brij Bageecha rejuvenated us for the rest of the trip.

Having stayed at several Fairmont's throughout Asia, we decided to stay here for a relaxing two days. The hotel looms over everything else, from the facade to the entrance. Our arrival at the hotel was unlike anything else, a real show stopper done Rajasthani style, with drums, and flowers.
The hotel is beautiful on the inside with it's courtyard and music. Having checked into our Delux room with freshly cut flowers the smell was beautiful. We decided to have afternoon Tea on the terrace, with freshly made snacks, a local dance troupe with music, while all this was going on a staff member decided to clean the floor around the woman who was performing, the hotel management should know when to clean and not to clean!
The terrace overlooking the pool was nice, missing some grass, but the view to the right was very nice, but we realised the pool was open on all sides, with no shade. Who designed that pool? It was like swimming in a canal, you have all the space and yet, you give your customers a corridor of water to swim in! There is no privacy, and only one swim.
The overall food service was also a letdown, a buffet evening menu, we did ask for a menu for the Al a carte but were told I had to scan a QR code for this, I assume they understand that COVID has been & gone and the world has moved on!
I also had a few sessions in the gym, no AC and lo lights, had to ask a member of staff to turn them on, but only maged the lights!
Forgot to mention this is the number one hotel for Weddings, so unless you want to have a nice relaxing break with 500 wedding guests, I suggest you do not stay here in the Wedding season, no use of pool or other facilities whilst a wedding is taking place. Hopefully, the hotel should notify you at the time of booking.
I would stay, overall very disappointing.
