It was nice stay in Mango Tree Homestay. The place is little far off from Hospet but really close to the archeological sites of Hampi. Also if you wany a quite stay in a homely environment it is the perfect place to be. The owner also helps with necessary tips and arrangements for sightseeing. Homemade breakfast and coffee we really liked most. The restaurant facility of the owner although Vegetarian but of really good quality.

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
Amazing place and staff. Hampi is like a different world from a fantastic dream. Really enjoyed staying at island vibes and exploring that side of the river. Food was awesome. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was good. We even got to do a little jamming on some djembes and guitar they have in the restaurant. Beautiful vibes. I met some wonderful people and made some good friends. Highly recommend. Same owner has another place similar to this one called Sun Down not to far 😊🙏🏽✌🏽🫶🏽
Great new hotel. It is 4km from the centre of Hampi so it is very quiet and peaceful. It feels like you are in the countryside. The room was large and the spacious bathroom had hot water at all times.
There are 2 restaurants opposite for drinks and meals. The Evergreen and The Italian Cafe.
Raju, the owner is very helpful and is on site as he has a clothes and linen shop on the ground floor.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Mamatha Guest Inn.
It was a wonderful experience. I would definitely prefer such home stays rather than staying in a Hotel. Rooms. were neatly maintained. Usually the photos of rooms you see in the website always don't match when you visit but in this case it was exceeding expectations. The care take was also very professional and polite. If you are traveling to Hampi, I would recommend this homestay as it quite calm place to be
The rooms are neat, clean and well maintained. Their staff is very friendly and hospitable. We stayed here for 3 nights, and even though are check out was at 9 am, Shiva (the owner here) extended our check out till 4 pm. He was considerate, very supportive and polite.
I think this is the best place to stay in Hampi if you want proximity to the main city centre as well as some peace and local feels
The surrounding area is stunning with the restaurant being the highlight of the property - it offered stunning views of the surrounding area. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel was accommodating to us arriving early in the morning. They were also helpful in organising a rickshaw tour around Hampi (Huli took us round - would highly recommend).
Arjun Guesthouse has a lush garden setting. It’s located in a quiet area, quite peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed meeting our hosts, they were most helpful with information and booking tours around Hampi. We highly recommend this well run guesthouse. The food was wonderful too!
This is one of the best accommodations available in Hampi..considering it to be a tiny city
Location is great..besides Virupaksa Temple
Rooms and toilets are clean
Food is great and reasonably priced
Host/owner of the accommodation is friendly and very helpful
Exceptional property in every way. Staff are amazing. Rooms incredible. The hotel is modelled on a palace and is the best place I’ve ever stayed. this is a wonderful place to visit. Hampi is a must see and the Hotel , makes your visit extraordinary.
One of the best Home stay in Hampi and service was very Good. Mr. Raghu is very friendly and helped us to organize the trip in smooth way. Food was Tasty especially Dal. Clean and Comfortable Rooms. Definitely must try place to stay .
The owner asked us to cancel due to G20 event. He said everything was closed which, actually, was not true. We could see Hampi in the mornings perfectly. We had to book in another more expensive hotel. Not helpful and friendly staff
It was best.. Mr. Raghu made us feel like his own family… entire trip was organised.. also the food was very tasty.. will definitely recommend to whoever is going to hampi.. you should try abhi home stay if ur in hampi…

If your planning to visit hampi then this is the must stay place..
The locality that is the township where the hotel is located in is very nice.. since Hampi doesn't have too many good places to stay.. this was a great choice.
