The route is very scenic, you'll get to see several wild animals on the route. There are good restaurants in the city. The climate is also very good, but try not to roam around at night as elephants might be there. Also, due to less pollution you can see stars clearly at night.Hari - 8.0Scored 8.0
Great location for people wanting to experience stay in...
Great location for people wanting to experience stay in forest reserve. However a little out of way. Food choices in the hotel were limited but adequate and well cooked. Hot water was a plus. Masinadudi is not a place for much sightseeing other than the hit or miss safaris. Also no city center to hang out. So hotel or safari are only choices. Overall a unique and different experience from standard hotels. I do have to commend the staff for their helpfulness and curtesy.

Peaceful village adjacent to the forest- full of scenic locations and serenity. Mudumalai and Bandipur are very nearby so that you can plan your jungle safaris Ooty is also not so far and the route to ooty is filled with scenic spots.SivaIndia - 8.0Scored 8.0
The place is great just to chill.
The place is great just to chill. You can go for the Government Safari... We booked a jeep drive(Costs more but worth it) for an hour and went deep into the Jungle (If you dislike Noise saty away fro the bus Safari). DId not see much wildlife except Elephants and Deer, never got sight of a tiger, but the serenity and fresheness of an Indian Jungle was there. I never saw so many Sandelwood trees in my life and felt very much a part of the Jungle. Privaste Safari's are a scam if you take them at the thier word, negotiate them to take you to places inaccesible via regular cars cannot go (4WD areas). DOn'tbelive the Private safari guys that they can show you a Tiger (its ther biggest scam). Treks are good and fun, your Hotel is the best place to arrange it if you do not know Tamil... 2 or 3 days are good here not more, unless you want to just realx in and around the hotel.

We have been to this place many times but this time we travelled with both our kids (young kids ). We drove from Bangalore to Masinagudi and we all throughly enjoyed our drive esp from Mysore to Masinagudi .

When you see Kohler as bathroom fittings, you can understand the quality consciousness of the place. The care taker Raju is a hospitality school by himself. Hotel management students should learn from him Food is homely and tasty. I believe it is the Leadership - Mr Pushp Chand who ensures the guests are comfortable. Dynamic yet humble person! A big shout out to the entire staff!!!

The food is mostly good although they primarily serve south Indian cuisine. They don't have a restaurant to eat in so you have to order in your room but they have a wonderful balcony outside most rooms where you can enjoy the view and eat. We did the 2 morning walks proposed by the hotel and both was really great. Highly recommended. Massages are nice also. I wish we will come back again. We crash landed in masinagudi and unfortunately landed up in this place. ₹3500 for nothing. No AC. They charge ₹700 for AC. Its a shabby house converted into a so-called guest house.
