Great staff, especially sia at reception and nitin at the cafe. Rooms are big, the little pool outside is nice for cooling down in the afternoon. Cafe is pretty good. Location is great, in the thick of the action and yet not noisy. Mini fridge in room is handy.

The rooms are quite spacious with clean toilets, a nice balcony and a mini fridge. The breakfast was quite tasty and they have options from which you can choose along with a beverage/juice. We opted for banana pancake with chocolate sauce and it was awesome. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They guided us very well about the nearby tourist places and how to reach them. It is located within walking distance from the beach and is one the quietest and cleanest beaches and neighbourhood I have visited. The area is not well known and perhaps that is the charm of the place - although it is buzzing with foreign tourists who seem to like the laidback, quaint vibe of the place. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops selling knickacks as well as tattoo and salons in the area.

The location is next to a river and surrounded by palm trees. A beautiful place to find stillness in a busy world. The beaches are stunning and you can explore India at your own pace. I enjoyed the yoga classes, massages and met great people. The restaurant offered a well balanced breakfast. In my opinion the best thing after a yoga class in the morning. It was my first time in India and it was one of my best trips ever.

The property is nearest to the Rajbaga beach which is beautiful, serene and tranquil but less crowded and have less facilities like Patnem. You can enjoy a beachfront breakfast, lunch or dinner at Patnem which is less than 1.5 kms from Martins Crest, but parking could be a problem during peak season. A morning walk to the Rajbaga beach is great!

the beach is super peaceful with just the right amount of crowd to not make it look deserted either. Clean, little bit of wood chips here n there but really good for morning and evening walks.
There are good options for eating in shacks on the beach too.

Patnem Beach is one of our favourite places, the reason we like this particular one is that there are less crowds compared to Palolem which is not far up the road.
There are a number of places to eat and drink, our favourites are Jaali Cafe, Nada Brahama, Kala Bhaia, Casa Jaali, Patnem Chai Shop, Sushi Cafe to name but a few.
The beach is clean and you always see people doing their bit to remove garbage in their morning walks.
It is very easy to get around Patnem, plenty of tuk tuks during the season and most properties will arrange a taxi also.
Lots of beach huts to choose from, we have our regular Moonstar Huts which are at the far end of the beach away from the strip, they are cute and basic with no hot water or AC but we just love it there.

Patnem was the nicest place we visited in Goa by far.
Patnem was the nicest place we visited in Goa by far. Just the right mix of bars/restaurants on the beach. The beach is lovely not too deserted and just lovely. Have good nightlife without being too crazy. Everyone are so friendly and you get to know people both locals and visitors very quickly. If you are after a bit of shopping, Patnem is ok, but Palolem even better. We did a back water boat trip seeing Eagles being feed, from the far end of Palolem beach (coming from Patnem), which I would highly recommend. Ask for Mr. Big who is a local very colourful dressed local man, who arranges the trips. He hangs around the last bar on the beach. Think it was 200rs each. So worth the money. Laguna restaurant on the road past La la is also worth a visit. Boomshanka bar best place to watch sunset, also near La la land. Cow Corner also worth a visit for dinner and Chai shop for dead cheap breakfast.

Patnem is a lovely beach in a bay that protects it from large waves, most of the time. Restaurant shacks, with sunbeds in front and shanty rooms behind, provide quite remarkable food all along the bay. Busier in the middle and quieter either end. Live music, somewhere, most evenings but usually finished before 11pm.
Wonderful sunsets but too many dogs around the shacks and on the beach causing nuisance, mess and often noise at night

Great beach shacks, all with sun beds and parasols.
Great beach shacks, all with sun beds and parasols. Some good food at the shacks, very reasonable prices. A lovely beach and we loved the walk from Patnem to Palolem.
Some lovely shops selling the usual stuff but some originals too.
A very chilled out place to stay.
