Reshabh the waiter at the terrace restaurant was excellent He was attentive, helpful and very pleasant The restaurant manager also let us hold a mini get together with friends on the terrace just because we were staying at the hotel. They did not charge us for that.

The location is a little tricky as it is on a newish development down a dusty unmade road. The property is very large with a huge banqueting suite and tended gardens. In my case there were few other residents but the staff were excellent and the Managing Director Ankur Agrawal is delightful. I enjoyed tea with him on several occasions. I did not use any dining facilities so cannot comment on them.

    We were there for a couple of weeks to get some dental work done, so longer than we would normally stay. The Ghandi museum is interesting, but apart from that there is was not too much of interest, except if the cricket is on! Some good shopping, and easy to get around, as it is a smaller city. It is a good stopover on the way to Gir National park area, but probably 1-2 nights would be sufficient. There is a fabulous non-veg restaurant Hot and More, near the Ghandi museum.

    its a vibrant Gujarat city, developed and advanced, lot of shopping and other activity its a heart of Saurashtra, you can also proceed to kutch if you want, local food is mostly vegetarian and must try, also shop for unique handicraft items which are famous here.

    Rajkot has grown exponentially in the last decade and it is quickly catching up with major cities, however, there is still some way to go, for example, there is Uber service but it is not very popular and hence still easier to hail a rickshaw. I am really looking forward to coming back as the people are nice and helpful and amazing vibe.

    Good city.

    Good city. But airport is small and needs a proper taxi service. Taxi-men exploit the new faces. Unfortunately it is the same story in most of cities. It was raining so they quoted 1500/- INR for 15 km. I tried Uber which showed Rs.350 for same destination. Finally Driver took Rs 600/- This is certainly not professional and I found it unsuitable for Mr Clean's own state. Authorities should have a pre-paid taxi from airport and 100% transparency in fair.

    Area of Improvement.

    Area of Improvement. Head Strong and inefficient front office staff. Can do better with selecting experienced staff than novices. The bath linen needs replacement badly. Room service has a long way to go,one tea took 3 reminder and 55 minutes. Breakfast - Innovative in culinary treats should be reasonable. Whoever heard of a batata paua(local meal) with Capsicum ? Wada Sambar - quality of wada on both days of my stay was below par. Valet - Not available after 23.00 strange isn't it - especially in festive season where guests returns tired after a long night out celebration.

    We were at SAYAJI Rajkot in the return trip from Somanth and our next station was Vadodara so for night stay I booked SAYAJI Rajkot, and this Accomodation i booked was superbly beautiful, its ambience was lovely and we having lots of options for Breakfast in the morning before check-out... i recommend this property to stay in RAJKOT which is cost effective too...

    1. The hotel honoured our request of a Twin Room. 2. The Room was neat, tidy, spic and span. 3. The room was large and spacious. 4. Room had all the facilities one could ask for including tea / coffee kettle, refrigerator, towels and toiletries. 5. The property was well maintained. 6. Ambience of the hotel was excellent. 7. Food prepared in the hotel for our dinner was fresh and delicious. Special compliments to the Chef. 8. Room was cleaned when we were outside. Supply of complimentary items were refilled promptly.

    Ac remote and telephone wasn’t available exhaust fan and shower was not working no hot water. breakfast was included in my booking but I had to pay for it extra because of OYO and hotel misunderstanding. I had to bear the cost. even it was not satisfied stay, OYO says according to their POLICY they can only return me 50% of the amount I paid, (I had 8 days booking and I stayed there for 1 day ) very disappointed with OYO as well as Hotel Rio Rajkot.

    This hotel was in a great location about 1 hour from the airport and away from the hustle and bustle of Rajkot. The room was a spacious size with space for a single bed if here were three people staying. The bathroom was also very spacious with a good functioning shower. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was prompt and helpful. The spa is lovely with a good range of massages available as well as a pool.
