We are senior citizens who decided to visit Tawang last month. We stayed at this property for 4 days. It was an amazing stay. The host and the hostess...a young couple took care of us as if we were their own parents. Always smiling, the industrious couple stole our hearts. Food was cooked fresh... right from procuring fresh ingredients. And food was tasty. Whatever we asked was given...be it food, toiletries or even change of room. I don't know if we will ever visit Tawang again. But we are sure, if ever we go...we don't have a choice. If I had a loudspeaker... I would tell the whole world...this is the ONLY place where you should stay.

My friends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic homestay, and I can't express enough how delightful our experience was! As students on a road trip, we were looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, and this homestay exceeded all our expectations. One of the highlights for us was the ample parking space available for both our car and bikes. It's not always easy to find accommodations that cater to private vehicles, but this homestay had us covered. Moreover, the homestay assisted us with obtaining a permit for Bumla Pass. This saved us a lot of time and hassle. The hospitality was unmatched, with the hosts being incredibly welcoming . Our room was cozy, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making us feel right at home. From the moment we arrived to the time of our departure, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The homestay's commitment to providing a comfortable and student-friendly environment made our stay truly memorable. If you're planning a trip with your own vehicle and looking for a homestay that goes the extra mile, I wholeheartedly recommend this place. We're grateful for the wonderful memories we made here and can't wait to return.

The view was magnificent, you can see whole town and mountains in the room's window. Location is great, very close to Tawang monastery. Rooms are very clean and new. We are very grateful for hospitality, owners made transfer for us (from and to bus station), cooked fresh food and every day give us hot water! Hope to come back this wonderful place

    Tawang boasts stunning scenery, making it an idyllic retreat for peace enthusiasts. However, be cautious of the local opportunists who excessively charge for trips to Bumla Pass, near the Indo-China Border.

    Tawang is heaven, nothing less.

    Tawang is heaven, nothing less. I think it was better than Ladakh. Bumla Pass was awesome. You can see the China Border and the chinese soldiers in their white attire just 100 metres away. The Indian army briefed us about the terrain and the history about the Bumla Pass. It was a different experience altogether. There are army run cafes at many places on the way from Dirang to Tawang with non CSD canteens attached. You can buy very good quality warm clothing and shoes from these canteens and enjoy the Parathas, Maggi and Coffee at very reasonable rates at these cafes. Since these are run by the army, these cafes are very neat and clean. Tawang is a 7 hours drive from Dirang by car. On the way you can enjoy the awesome greenery and lovely valleys and lakes. Overall, a must go destination.

    It is wonderful experience to visit Tawang for both its cultural places as well as the scenic tourst spots. Especially the Bum La pass where India and Tibet have border. Across the border you can see the Chinese soldiers. You can also see the tough conditions under which our Jawans of Army are guarding our borders. You will feel very proud about them and emotional to be there at the border. It is worth visiting once in a lifetime. When we visited, except the road all sides is full of of snow. Having the bright sunny and clear sky is lucky. Visit to Madhuri (Sungester) lake is very beautiful. It is serene and lovely, surrounded by mountains on all sides.

    My trip to Tawang was a never forgettable experience for me. I enjoyed each and every moment of the trip. The snow fall, magical snow caped mountains of Himalaya, the Buddhist monasteries, cold and clean air, the simple and helpful Monpa people, the rivers flowing from the high mountains, the water falls, scenic beauty at every look.
