The surroundings were absolutely fantastic as Villa Ottolenghi Wedekind is located on a plateau. The breakfast was magnific and was served on one's table out on the terrace. It was a good selection of various cold dishes.
Featuring a garden and an outdoor pool, Sambuco Innamorato offers en suite rooms in the hills outside Acqui Terme.

The town is lovely with an old centre complete with cobbles.
The town is lovely with an old centre complete with cobbles. There are hot springs in a very picturesque piazza. It is very easy to walk around and there was an English speaking lady in the Tourist Information office (which had plenty of English leaflets and a town map). There are lots of bars in the town, many of which are located under arched walkways. Everyone we met was helpful and wanted to chat, even though our Italian was basic to say the least! Tried to upload photos but came out upside down/sideways :)
Giarvino is located just 10 minutes drive from central Acqui Terme, but it is in the vineyards of the Piemonte hills in a very quiet and scenic location. Fredy and Romy are phenomenal hosts, their attention to making guests comfortable, peaceful (and very well-fed) is exceptional. The guesthouse and the grounds are so nice, every detail including the furniture and artworks on the property are beautiful.
It's a very quiet hotel with plenty of place inside. A very pleasant walk takes you to the city center in 15 minutes. Surroundings are wide enough to walk, see the forest and discover small places every day.
Matilde, at the front desk, was very helpful and handsome. All the staff was very nice. We'll stay again in the near future.
Fantastic position in the centre of Acqui Terme. The room was large and spotlessly clean, and the bed was really comfortable.
The breakfast has a great range of food, including hot cooked options.
The staff are all friendly, kind and wonderfully helpful.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
Great location except a little noisy Friday night - to bevfxpected - Franco very responsive and flexible host. Big and comfortabld rooms with ok equipped Kitchen. Coffee and croissant served as breakfast at nearby cafe. Good but not great.
Lots of space, everything is brand new and nicely appointed (lots of plugs to charge stuff!) and the bathroom has one of those fancy ‘sun showers’. Nice and quiet location. Very friendly hostess who speaks English.
The hotel is in an old Italian house with wooden shutters, high ceilings and plastered walls. Cozy, everything is there, although there is no luxury. The host is very friendly. Breakfast is simple, but very good.
The moment I arrived, I was treated with so much hospitality and care. The breakfasts were amazing! The attention to detail was exemplary. It was truly a wonderful experience staying here, in every way.
The location and environment are fantastic. Upstairs in the heart of Acqui Terme.
The owners are instantly responsive to messages and wonderfully agreeable to alterations in check ins and outs.
The room was clean (extremely clean) and the bathroom quiet spacious. Marco and the staff were fabulous and helpful even with though we speak no Italian - although we have learned "GRATZI!"
possibly the best little hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely fabulous, room exquisite, scenery unbelievable, infinity pool heavenly and the restaurant experience was outstanding. Bravo
The house has everything you need , is very clean & the hosts are very kind & considerate A calm place to relax near the beautiful center of Acqui Terme
