The town of varese is beautiful. It's a 45 min ride by train into milan and a good place to stay if you are visiting the milan expo. The hotel Is a 10 min walk from the station. The rates are more reasonable that milan. It's also a great stop to chk out milan, Lugano and lake como. All can be covered within 45 mins by train.

The location is on top on the mountain and it has a very nice view from the window.
Next to the house is a bus stop , so can be reached easily by public transport.
Car parking was available free of cost.
This is a very old house , but it’s maintained very well. It is very neat and clean. Room was small and cozy with shared bathroom, but we never faced any problem with the shared bathroom. And we were also allowed to use the dining space.This house has a beautiful garden which is also accessible for the guests.The host Maya and her husband are very friendly and nice person. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Wonderful place, wonderful owner and staff… As soon as we stepped in the property, we felt in a very special Villa, the space is impregnated with fine artists paintings, art pieces, the garden is luxuriant, confortable room, every detail is well thought, we got warmly welcomed, our needs were immediatly understandood and filled with kindness and a great professionalism, good quality breakfast, the owner could recommend and book us a very good restaurant at the last late minute. The only problem was that we could only stay one night, we definitly plan on coming back few more days to enjoy the villa, its garden, the staff, the pool and a horse ride in the near nature… A gem !!

Location was perfect. Basically walk out of the hotel, over the road, down to the lake and follow the lake round to Como centre. It's just a 20 minute walk. Breakfast was great. So much selection to chose from. I chose a room with lake views and it was stunning. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The room was perfect. If you want comfort, clean and rooftop swimming pool with lake views then the Hilton is the place to stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. There's no bad word to say about it.

Loved it best apartment we have stayed in Albiolo is a small town and you can walk there. Car is a must if you wish to explore the region. Lake Como 20 minutes away if there is light traffic on the road (avoid peak times).
