Valentina is exceptional. Prior to our arrival she sent explicit directions/pictures on where to park, how to enter the apartment, internet connection and restaurant recommendations. Upon arrival she greeted us at the door, explained everything about the apartment, and even left nice selection of little things to eat. Although breakfast was not included, the pastry that she baked and left for us made up for it. Plus there was a coffee/tea selection. Very nice. Upon departure, her husband came out to say goodbye because Valentina was at a school function.

There was an indoor/outdoor option for breakfast, which was nice.
It was typical Italian fare - pastries, bread, pastries, cheese, pastries, cereal, pastries, cold meats, pastries, juices, yogurts, fruit, endless varieties of caffeine and...there were pastries.
Driving was as most countryside driving is in Italy, narrow roads with picturesque views.
The only thing I would avoid is coming during the hottest time of the year.

We loved everything. Hosts are such a lovely couple, who makes you feel like at home. They gave us so many recommendations and even reserved a table for dinner in local restaurants. Both speaking perfect English. Rooms are clean and nice. Pool is excellent in sunny days. Couldn’t describe views and sunset - it’s amazing!!! Located between olive and wine trees. Definitely will visit them again, because they are a rare find and I have visited Italy so many times.
Our stay at Villa San Michele was fabulous. Absolutely top notch. You will definitely feel like you're in a 5-star hotel. The property was beautiful. The hosts were amazing. Stephanie and Roger were so helpful with maps, recommendations and reservations at restaurants and wineries and Stefania is a true chef. The breakfast was amazing. Everything made from scratch from biscuits to cheesecake to jams and chocolate spreads. We highly recommend!

This is where you want to be when you want to go to Tuscany.
Arriving, you can park your car in the perfect garage for free, and then walke through a tunnel to the beautiful little reception room.
Everything is renovated perfectly and the crew is as authentic as they are professional.
Welcome to the Italy you dreamed of.
I will be back!!
One of the best travel experience! Tuscany is itself a gem of Italy and Ormani domain is a pearl, fitted perfectly in decor. A few old stone houses, renewed, but keeping their epochal perfume, the swimming pool, the beautiful roses and, last, but not least, the view to the hills of Tuscany! Enjoy a glass of Chianti, looking to a fantastic sunset, is priceless!
The place is more than the hotel, it is a place with a soul. It is a typical Tuscan house furnished with beautiful furniture. There's a private yard and a magnificent view. A fantastic place if you need peace and quiet. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The distance to Siena or Florence is 20km. There are also nice eateries nearby.
