A gem. We were here last year too. A charming family run hotel in Barolo. Beautiful location set among the vineyards with a fantastic view over the village of Barolo and the castle. They are so friendly and welcoming and the hotel has a very warm feeling. An elevated terrace to enjoy a glass of wine with a view. A terrace adjoining the breakfast room so you can sit outside. The wine cellar is extensive, I can only recommend you take the tour. The rooms are comfortable, nothing too fancy. Practical, clean and typical for the style of the region. Our room had a balcony overlooking the vineyards. There are two houses. I personally prefer the Barolo Classico as the room height is more generous and allows for cooler room temperature. Breakfast is plentiful with fresh products and good bread. We also dined at the restaurant which is also highly recommendable. I would come back here anytime and am looking forward to my next visit.

Beatrice was quite the hostess. Very engaged, friendly and interested. The breakfast was very extensive and loving. There was everything you could wish for and additional specials like egg or crepe were offered daily. The accommodation was cleaned daily and the location is perfect to explore Piedmont. Beatrice does not speak English but thanks to google translate communication was no problem. We will be happy to come back again.

Amazing location and fantastic people, very friendly and helpful.
Facilities are newly renovated, very modern, and exceptionally clean.
Beautiful town and landscape. Lovely restaurants, walking distance, and then the wine was incredible.
Owners and staff were absolutely fantastic.

Barolo is a very pretty town surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards. We travelled by car and it was easy to visit lots of pretty towns in this beautiful region.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region.
A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. Barolo was a great town to be in and biking was phenomenal there.

Nice, tiny, idyllic village albeit too touristic and (consequently) overpriced wines in the several wine stores. You'll presumably get same products cheaper at your home country! Suggest to make arrangements to visit the manifold wineries instead.

Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more.
Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing.
The town Alba is also worth a visit.
First and foremost, atmosphere of the hotel was simply enchanting. The hotel itself exuded elegance and Italian charm. It’s located in the picturesque landscapes of Italy, surrounded by breathtaking views of rolling hills, vineyards and charming villages. The rooms were clean and bed was so comfortable and also breakfast was so good. I highly recommend their breakfast!
We spent two wonderful nights at this guest house. Beatrice was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided an amazing yummy breakfast both mornings and had some great suggestions for eating and aperitif's. The location was very convenient to winery's and sightseeing. If we ever go back to Barolo, we would definitely stay here again.
The host was great and provided extras such as wine at his cost and assistance in checking in and out. Great place and location a short walk to Barolo. Had a clothes washer and a hanging device to dry inside. The place was very spacious. Close to main road so easy to get to Alba and other locations in the region.
We liked everything about our stay in Ciabot delle Aie. The accommodations were very comfortable. Located just beneath the town of Barolo, the location was ideal. The hosts were wonderful people. Franco and Silvana shared their time with us and made us feel very welcome. Diego provided a superb wine tasting.
What a saty! We loved the stay and the welcoming was amazing as this was a part of our honeymoon. Sweet Mr Germano was the perfect host and we are so grateful. Also gave us a lot of time wine tasting. this is forever our natural place for coming trips to Barolo. Book it!
The location is stellar. We only saw the host twice, but they were friendly. It's a super cute little spot that I'd recommend. The village of Barolo is super small, but there's several restaurants and shops.
Fantastic location just outside the Barolo town centre. Very peaceful with a very warm welcome received from the host. The wine tour and wine tasting were just the cherry on top!
Rafaella is an amazing hostess and you can be sure you'll be very comfortable at her house. On top of that she is an incredible cooker and you will have a perfect taste of Italy.
Perfect location in the heart of Barolo town. if you have a car, even better with the local parking lot or garage below the apartment. The host was great and very responsive.
Barolo is a nice village to visit wineries and to start bicycle tours. The owners helped us a lot, because we had some troubles with our car. Thanks again for that.
Large, modern, well equipped and decorated appartement centrally located in Barolo with a private parking. Adolfo was very attentive and efficient in communication.
Fabulous views over the rolling vineyards. Modern, clean, well equipped (cling film dishwasher tablets etc). Great location within 10 minutes easy walk to Barolo.
