Really enjoyed our stay ! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the city center, and just 1 min from a small beach. The room was very tidy and clean, and it had a private terrace that overlooked a waterfall and Lake como at the same time ! However, what truly set this hotel apart was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the hosts, especially Giovanni :)

Fabulous property and host! Giovanni went above and beyond to welcome us and answer any questions or concerns, both before our arrival and during our stay. The views of the lake are just stunning and we loved sitting out on our own private terrace with a glass of wine enjoying our surroundings. The location is quiet and secluded, but walkable to town, the ferry, and the train station. We were able rent a boat right in the town and enjoyed exploring the lake on our own. Beautiful Orrido and Cascata are two "must visits" in Bellano for ones loving nature. The SS36 motorway nearby makes your travel with car very easy alongside the whole Eastern part of the lake, meanwhile the rest of the roads along the lake can be full of traffic jams. This to be considered if you chose your location to sleep during the night but travel to explore different venues during the day.CsanádHungary - 10Scored 10

We would highly recommend staying in Bellano. It was convenient to other villages on the lake and we could be away from the crowds. It was a charming town with great restaurants. The ferry service was most convenient to Bellano. We were able to travel around the lake easily and looked forward to coming back to our bit of paradise in Bellano!Festa - 10Scored 10
Our group really liked Bellano.
Our group really liked Bellano. We were looking for a smaller town that was not over-commercialized or overrun with tourists, but not so small that there was nothing to do and the dining options were limited. In Bellano we found nice restaurants & we were particularly fond of the places adjacent to the water where we could dine and watch the lake traffic. The ferry schedule was a bit confusing but we figured it out spent some time on the water as well. In all, Bellano was what we were looking for and we were very happy with our choice. We would come back here again.

Mr. Enzo was an exceptional host who made sure his guests have everything they need (and, if you don’t feel like walking - he might just come pick you up!) The view was lovely. after traveling in Italy for 4 weeks - this was the reprieve I needed. the little pool was perfect after a long day too - doesn’t seem like much until you get in it! A short 10-minute walk into town, but be aware there are steep hills, cobbled paths and lots of stairs. The hosts were lovely and so hospitable, offering tips for exploring the area and quick to respond to any questions. Bellano is a great location to base yourself and explore Lake Como. It's not as busy with tourists, but just a quick ferry trip to all the other towns along the lake.

It’s not as busy as other popular towns in Lake Como so you can actually relax and take the ferry to where you need to go. The staff were by far the favourite part of our stay. Without the effort Marco and Tanya put into the place, it wouldn’t be possible to have this above and beyond level of service. The host was very friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and things to do in Bellano. The building is off the Main Street and has an elevator. The bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant. It’s a great find considering the limited choices in this charming, small town, which is not known for being very touristy in Lake Como.

The location is great because it’s on the main road of Bellano, and they have bicycles you can borrow and ride to town which takes like 5 minutes.
