We loved everything about this apartment. It was comfortable, within walking distance to the funicular to the old city (and thus on the cheap bus stop to the airport), and quiet. The kind owners left wine, water, and treats for us which was so welcome (we hadn’t planned on staying in Bergamo until the last minute so we had nothing to eat.) tTere is a lovely espresso machine with plenty of coffee pods. The shower had plenty of hot water and the bed was super comfortable. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

What a wonderful surprise as we slept for just one night transferring to the airport. The hotel was beautiful and our room was spectacular. Roberta was very sweet and helpful. This is a very peaceful and quiet ares of Bergamo, in the old part of town. We slept very well and had a delicious breakfast. The hotel did arrange our transport to the airport with Aurora, she was a very good driver and it was a very pleasant journey. We plan to come back and stay again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bergamo's walled upper town is a gem, and the hotel is on the narrow main street near the Cathedral. Location couldn't be better - you walk straight out from the front door into one of Italy's classic historical sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants, booking taxis etc. The hotel building is historic, the interior quite compact. The breakfasts were very good - delicious coffee.

I stay at this hotel one a month, every time I'm in Bergamo I stay here, its value for money, the location is great, there is parking close by which is free after 8pm until 8am the next day, there is a great Pizzaria downstairs and a great spot for breakfast next door to that. its close to the cable car? to get to the old town, its close to the train and bus station.

All of the receptionists were excellent and extremely helpful as we had a number of special requests largely due to the wedding we were attending at the Bergamo Cathedral. Thank you Michael, Gaia and Marta for taking such good care of us. Property is lovely and room was beautifully designed - highly recommend staying here when visiting “Citta Alta”.

The hotel is perfectly located in heart of Cita Alta, close to all sightseeing points and Funiculare. It is located in an amazing old townhouse of perfect cleanlinnes. View from garden room was lovely. So was breakfast made by landlady (best coffee ever). As it was my another visit to Bergamo, I cannot think of any better place.

Rosaria and Walter are excellent hosts - they took care of every single detail - detailed correspondence, free airport transfer to lodging, abundant breakfast and a sweet, cosy and beautiful apartment. This is the place to choose if visiting Bergamo Alta! You will definitely not be disappointed!

Everything was great. Alex picked us up on the airport. We had a good chat with him a he gave us tips about places to visit in Bergamo and Italy. Breakfast was good with enough variety for everybody to choose. Locality of accomodation is good too, in quiet part of city.

Very nicely located in Citta Alta. Very quite street with lots of restaurants around. Bus stop to the airport 2 minutes away (walking). Host is very quick to answer requests or questions. We loved the building architecture as well.

The place was awesome, the staff kind and nice, and you're in the centre of the town! Remember you're in Italy and take slippers with you - the floors of the old building can be chilly :))

The best accommodation in Italy. It's all super clean, super comfortable, a good host. If I should come back to Bergamo, I would book this accommodation again and again. Thanks very much!
