B&B Del Piazzo, hotel in Biella

Set in the historic centre of Biella, B&B Del Piazzo offers free Wi-Fi in the entire building and rooms with views of the surrounding mountains and Serra hill.

I loved the place, sort of an old palazzo. It has a patio and not many rooms for visitors so it's quiet and peaceful. You can feel it's private and not commercial (no type of net hotel ). The room was comfortable and clean, you had to go across the corridor to go to the private bathroom but it's no problem. There's a small TV, a small fridge, a coffee maker and a kettle, even a microwave. All in all, a comfortable place to stay. And the area is just lovely! on the square nearby there's a coffee bar, a bakery and a restaurant... and less than 5min away there's a funicolare which takes you down to Biella. Really nice and convenient, too. I'd love to go back to this place once again, that's for sure.

What a beautiful city and surrounding areas.

What a beautiful city and surrounding areas. So much to see and do, much of it just a short drive away - for instance, seeing the Black Madonna at Oropa, visiting the mediaeval castle in the city, eating the best ice cream I've ever had in the gelaterie next to the tourist office ... Looking forward to coming back and venturing further afield, for instance to the great lakes, only an hour or so's drive away.

I answered above that the length of stay was just right, but with half decent weather my stay would have needed to be longer as there are quite a few things to see and the area has beautiful nature ideal for walking.

the building was very ancient and absolutely magical! Everything was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast included homemade cakes, local cheese and jams. The owner was the sweetest most hospitable person you will ever meet. She made sure I had everything I needed and was very sweet. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Can’t wait to return and have another adventure in Biella :)

Modern interior and extremely helpful staff. Sadly the on site restaurant was not open(?Covid) but we ate well at the sister restaurant in the old town, accessed by funicular. Also a really good breakfast. Biella is a delightful town with plenty to see in the surrounding area.

The flat is super central; it's comfy, well appointed, sits exactly above Biella's best deli (Mosca) and the host, Lorenzo, is extremely kind and hospitable. All in all, it was great staying here. There's no aircon but, frankly, it's not like you need it.

Very kind person. You hear the neighbors (OK, it's Italy), but if you ask them to be quiet, they are...and you can sleep then ;) Quiet area with parking space and 20 min to walk to the city centre...and no trouble at the accomodation.
