All of the front office personnel were really helpful. Always with a smile and ready to go out of their way to assist you. Very knowledgeable indeed. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the effort to make you feel comfortable is very evident. The breakfast is good, maybe some items might be readily available instead of asking for them. I would even say that this hotel deserves an even better level than that of 3 Star. Cum Laude!!!

The staff were so helpful on check in as it was very late. The lady went out of her way to try and find us a restaurant as just about everything was closed. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. They even had cereal and scrambled eggs which was a treat. My kids were well and truly over chocolate cornettos for breakfast.

The Sardinian capital, Cagliari has a historic old town, busy port and one of the island’s best beaches. The sweeping stretch of sand at Poetto offers great summer nightlife, and just inland is Molentargius lagoon, where flamingos nest against the backdrop of the city.
Cagliari is spread over a small hill and the oldest part – Quartiere Castello – lies at the top. There are far-reaching views from Bastion San Remy, its main entrance point. Medieval city walls lead from here to the simple cathedral, and nearby is the 18th-century Palazzo Regio.
By one of the original city gates is the National Archaeological Museum, housing a collection of Phoenician and Roman artefacts from the city’s Tuvixeddu Necropolis. There are also displays of the nuraghic civilisation whose former dwellings pepper Sardinia. The most impressive is Su Nuraxi north of Cagliari.
Just outside the walls are remains of a Roman amphitheatre, next to the university botanical gardens. Orange tree-lined streets descend the hill towards the seafront where restaurants and bars can be found. Cagliari FC play at Sant’Elia Stadium along the coast and opposite is the Sardinia International Fair, an important conference venue.
Booking.com’s Cagliari accommodation includes luxury hotels with pools, B&Bs by the train station and cheap guest houses near Elmas Airport.

Weather was not nice, so we cannot really use the beaches or go the mountain (to much windy), but center and close surroundings of Cagliari are nice, wonderful views, walking in small streets. We recommend to take bus Nr.7, which is circular line. How the driver is driving thru small streets - respect. In any case is better for stay in the city to use buses - it'smore practical and ecological, cheap and good service, parking is anyway difficult.

Excellent small town, which is very pleasant to walk around, enjoy the architecture and food. In general, there is not much to do in it, except to spend time by the sea and on the beaches. 3 days is fully enough to see all parts of the city.

Loads of walking up.and down hills and stairs.
Loads of walking up.and down hills and stairs. Easy to get around and all nearby. Loved the narrow streets and Marina. Great cycling tour of the city to Poetta beach. The Botanical Gardens were fantastic - well worth the visit. The public civic gardens were lovely and so well maintained by the hard working crew. Also the art gallery at the end of it was small but beautiful.

A truly Mediterranean city, warm and full of life and positive vibes. It's history and culture deserve much more respect than it actually receives. Some spots are neglected (particularly Bastione San Remi), the roads are not in the best shape and overall there is a sense of neglect. Luckily the locals with their helpful attitude make up for the minuses which most probably are created by the local authorities.

Easter is a good time to visit, warm but not too hot.
Easter is a good time to visit, warm but not too hot. Cagliari is quite hilly, we took a tuk-tuk tour, €70 for one hour, well worth the money to see all the key highlights in the town without being too strenuous.
The b&b was small and charming with 3 guest rooms and a very personal touch. The house was built onto a 14th century wall so it also felt historic and genuinely Sardinian. The host Giovanni was super friendly and helpful, and lovely Arianna served us coffee every morning with an abundant breakfast of fruit, boiled eggs, cheese, charcuterie, buns and Sardinian sweets. The location was perfect! Everything was just a few steps outside of the entrance, and we would highly recommend this inn if you like a more personal intimate experience.
Our stay at Sardinia Gem House was amazing. The apartment has been recently renovated but still has lots of character. The location is a 5 minute walk from the train station which makes it easy to get to when flying into Cagliari. Loredana was the sweetest woman and the perfect host with her fast communication and answering any questions we had. There is also a bus stop at the bottom of the street which makes it easy to head to Poetto beach. We would recommend Sardinia Gem House to anyone who was wanting to visit Cagliari.
An amazing and wonderful place to enjoy your stay in Cagliari. The hotel was in a very quiet and beautiful area, very close to restaurants or to the old center. The room was very clean and the access it is very easy just using some code provided by the staff. The communication with the reception was top notch even before our arrival at the accommodation. The room was cleaned every day which is a big plus from other hotels.
100% when I come back to Cagliari, we will stay there again.
Grazie
This centralised location boasts so much Sardinian/Italian culture! A spacious 2 bedroom apartment with 2 balconies, a kitchen and bathroom. This was ideal for me and my friend (keen travellers) as all we needed was somewhere to sleep in comfort and rest a short distance from the town centres shops, restaurants, sea and nightlife. The Hosts were top people who made this stay a lot less stressful by communicating with us prior and once arrived told us everything we needed to know.
Very nice and cozy place. Andre (the owner) is very helpful and flexible.
The apartment is located in the heart of Cagliari. Restaurants, bars, pubs, everything is within walking distance.
The apartment is big enough for two or even three people. The kitchen is well equipped and also the washing machine was a great help for us after a week of hiking in Sardinia.
Two minutes from the apartment there is a nice cafeteria that is perfect for breakfast and serves delicious coffee.
The staff was amazing from the moment we checked in. They even helped us with parking our rental van since it was so big. We were celebrating a special occasion and they went out of their way to make sure we felt special! The American Bar made great drinks and had wonderful bartenders, and the wait staff was very friendly. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Cagliari and to add it to your list if Cagliari is not in your travel plans!
Excellent communication from the moment we booked and a warm welcome from Giulia. Well stocked with food and drink and the place was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location to explore Cagliari. So helpful with dietary restrictions. The balcony was the reason we chose this property and it was a great place to sit and read, eat and soak in the Sardinian atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back if I'm in Cagliari again one day.
Everything was truly amazing, starting with Fabio, who was the perfect host and gave us the most incredible tips not only to explore Cagliari but also all Sardegna. He also prepared a really good breakfast, with a selection of Sardinian delicacies. The room was big, clean, well decorated and the bed was really confortable. The location was also great, walking distance from the main spots in Cagliari. It was a perfect stay.
the best start of holiday in Sardinia.
we rented this apartment in the center of the city. the house has typical wooden vaults and two beautiful balconies that overlook a street in the historic center of Cagliari. A fantastic way to start our holiday in Sardinia. Very comfortable Self check-in. very welcome the Italian espresso coffee offered inside the apartment. Thanks again to the host for the professionalism.
Location was excellent - short walk to pretty much everything in Cagliari. The hotel is very clean, and kept in a good condition. I also liked that snacks and drinks were given and there was a mini fridge to keep things cold. Additionally, there were communal beach umbrellas, sun lotion, etc. that you can borrow as a guest. Staff were polite and answered all questions/requests promptly.
The location was superb, literally overlooking the Bastione di St.Remy, everything was walking distance including the Marina and Via Roma. The accommodation was excellent - comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. There is a nice roof terrace which you can see the sea from. All in all it was great value for money and a great base to explore Cagliari and southern Sardinia.
Great location - in the center of Cagliari, our first time staying in an apartment format - and we loved everything. very, very clean. thanks to Klaudia for helping me book a taxi to the airport at night (in Sardinia you don't always have to rely on Uber))). Around a lot of restaurants, you can not bother with cooking, although the object provides such an opportunity.
The facilities and the host! It was everything we needed and so clean and comfortable. The host, Valerio went above and beyond to help us with our late check in and he was so informative and helped us plan and execute our itinerary. He made our experience in Cagliari so much better! Thank you so much!! Would definitely stay again if I came back to Sardinia.
This property is exceptional value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful. As a previous reviewer said - the breakfast is truly superior, especially given the price. Best breakfast we had out of our 5 different hotels whilst in Sardinia. Would stay here again if we were to return to Cagliari…you can’t really go wrong with this price and quality.
Palazzo Tirso exceeded our expectations.
The hotel opened in April, so everything is brand new. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff exceptional, specially Demetri who went above and beyond to ensure that we learned about all the cool spots in Cagliari.
Location is great. Walking distance from all the main points in the city.
Really nice BnB in the heart of Cagliari. Location is amazing close to bus stop and train station. In the heart of Cagliari historical centre near to all attractions and amazing trattorias.
The room was clean and comfortable the breakfast in the attached bar is a good Italian breakfast.
Walking distance to the center of Cagliari, the entire hotel was clean, comfortable, spacious bathroom, good water pressure, fast wifi, great breakfast. The staff was very friendly & Giuseppe went above his duties to accommodate us & make our stay more enjoyable. Would def stay again.
We had a great experience staying in Hotel Flora in Cagliari. The location is excellent - two blocks from the train station and next to the town center. The location is actually quiet and is next to a park square, away from crowds and traffic. We really enjoyed our stay.
Good value hotel with attentive staff. Great location with access to Yenna piazza, bus terminal (Poetto beach!), train station (airport connection), many restaurants, Crai supermarket, Sunday flea market.
Check in was straightforward, the room was gorgeous, the shower perfect, the aircon was welcome. They even offered us a safe place to stow our bags while we explored Cagliari on our last day in Sardinia
