A picturesque village where the famous artist Michelangelo...

A picturesque village where the famous artist Michelangelo was born. In the town center of the village, on the top of the hill there is the castle which is also the birth house of Michelangelo. The castle and the house are also a museum where you can find a reproduction of the statues of the famous artist. In the neighbourhood you can find several historical buildings and walking paths.

Dinner and breakfast were amazing. Staff extremely accomodating, sent someone to pick us up at a nearby town as we had no way to get to Caprese Michelangelo from there, and again drove us to Sansepolcro the next morning. Magnificent views from hotel restaurant.
