I have stayed here many times before. The breakfast at Europa was as good as it always is : a fine choice and plenty of it. Savoury as well as the obligatory sweet Italian start to the day. The room is also great - it has everything you could need. This time I used the eCar charging equipment. You need a voucher and a code from the reception, and then the mid-range charge happens effortlessly (4 hours to full). The staff are absolutely charming : they loved my dog (an old friend!) and they are very professional and friendly. The desk is manned 24 hours a day - an advantage if you have to leave early.

The building is old but very interesting. We felt like staying in a museum and we are glad to have had this opportunity to see the inside of such a building. The room and bathroom were spacious but old. Overall the place is nicely decorated. Big kitchen and nice garden. The owners were very helpful, we were picked from and brought to the train station by car.
The location is very interesting, by the old town but close to the new centre, very close to the city gallery with an interesting collection.
