Mombaruzzo is perfectly located for wine enthusiasts who want to experience both the classic wines of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero as well as those from the Monferrato region (some excellent Barbera and lesser known wines including Ruché) but its fantastic Amaretti Morbido are the star attraction (the café around the corner makes the best). The villa is beautiful the appartment is extremely comfortable with a great view over the village. Paola, who lives on site, is very friendly and helpful. There really is very little to fault about the place (see below for nit picking) and it is amazing value for money.
A casa di Gloria is located in Acqui Terme. The property features inner courtyard views. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and a minimarket for guests.
