Castelnouvo is a beautiful town. It has lots of Bars.
Castelnouvo is a beautiful town. It has lots of Bars. Restaurants. Gelaterias. In the holiday month of August it usually has entertainment. Plus every Thursday morning has a typical Italian Market. It's a perfect base to explore the Garfagniana region of Tuscany. Absolutely love it. A must see town.

The ground floor is fully avalaible to guests including a large tv screen. The outside garden is fenced above street level, with a great sitting area. The host is very dedicated and friendly. She composes the breakfast from farmgrown materials, including great pastry. Wine is available from the vineyard. Location in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana allows easy access to restaurants and the road network, it is a small place with a real nice inner city part.

The hotel itself is spectacular, a 500 year old villa with beautiful paintings and antiques wherever you look. The breakfast was also exceptional, with fresh pastries baked by Patricia in the morning as a cherry on top. Could not recommend more!

We had breakfast and coffee downstairs in the restaurant which we enjoyed. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Castelnuovo di Garfagnana a 3 minute walk in to the central square. There was a nice terrace outside our room overlooking the restaurant which was nice to relax on.KellyUnited Kingdom
