We travel often as a family, and this trip and stay in “Aparthotel Feeling at Home” was quite exceptional. We came to visit the region (which is extremely rich in history and things to see), so for us it was not an issue that the location is a bit farther away from Bologna center. It was a plus, rather. You can still get to Bologna easily via transport (or car, in our case), and if you want to go to other places in the region, it is even easier if you go from this location.
The apartment was nice and well organized; comfortable for our family of 5. Also, it was very easy for parking. Internet working perfectly. The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and convenient.
The breakfast concept is a bit unusual, but it worked pretty well for us. Essentially, the groceries are provided, but you prepare the breakfast yourself. It is convenient and flexible.
The best thing are the hosts. Very accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the region. The host also spared his time and gave us a beautiful tour of Bologna. We often take tours in the cities we visit, but this one was above our previous experiences, both in the content and the delivery. We are very grateful for that.

Very good location for visiting the neighborhood. Mauro waited for us with the keys and provided information about shops and restaurants around. He also shared things to see in Bologna. We had no problems with parking. The apartment itself is very spacious and clean. All necessary equipment (and more) was in place. We felt at home. There is a very nice (and big) garden there and we spent time sitting on the terrace. Mauro was extremely helpful and he made sure we had everything we needed. And as always the real test comes when you hit problems. We had a complex tooth problem and Mauro and his wife Barbara helped us to find a dentist, set an appointment and even offered to go with us to provide translation. We really appreciate their help - it is difficult to handle those things in a foreign country. Extremely recommended.

Lovely room, staff were great, location was great, 15 minutes to the centre. Good restaurants near the hotel, Ro Cocco and Margeri were excellent. This is a definite stay if you visit Bologna.

This is a lovely apartment, right in the center of Castenaso, next to the bus stop and close to shopping. The hosts are gracious and accommodating, we had terrific breakfast options. Will book again next time we are in the area.
Frankly speaking it's the best apartment where our family have been! And we travelled a lot 😊 Francesca is very careful and attractive owner! There was everything and even more in this fantastic apartment! There were delicious Italian food, toys and entertainment for children! So we could absolutely recommend A casa di Elsa to everyone who would nearby and want to have a great rest in Castenaso!
