The location is remote and private. The staff are welcoming, accomodating and happy to chat. The rooms are modern, clean with excellent A/C (try to book a room with a balcony). The beds are comfortable and there is complimentary water in the mini-bar. We stayed 3 nights and wish it could have been more..I recommend more than 1 night to take advantage of the location. There is an east facing private beach with sun beds and umbrellas. The breakfast is very impressive, with lots of choice and unlimited coffee. The restaurant does excellent ravioli, chianina and pasta with chingiale with a lovely wine list.
Hotel Aganoor is in Castiglione del Lago historic centre, overlooking Lake Trasimeno and walking distance of the town’s castle. It offers a restaurant, and a terrace with panoramic lake views.

We had a very pleasant stay in Castiglione del Lago. Donatella was very kind and helpful with everything we needed. The location is perfect and the room is very nice and quiet. Everything was nicely clean. The bed was super comfortable. Check in was easy and fast. Just a few steps from the accommodation you can have a fantastic breakfast in a bakery or other cafés. There are also many great options for going for dinner or lunch. If we are again in that region, we would definitely stay there again. Definitely recommend Donatella's place! Grazie mille!
Set in the heart of Castiglione Del Lago, Palazzo Barbini Dimora Storica is 5 minutes' walk from shore of Lake Trasimeno. It offers cosy accommodation featuring lounges with frescoes or fireplaces.

Clean and convenient location, nice host and great views. Many great restaurants and places to wander- small town but lovely and quaint. I would not have wanted to stay longer than we did but glad we went. I think this place was good value for the secure and clean location.

Beautiful ancient town with restaurents offering the so good Italian food. Markets along the streets several days a week.
No traffic inside the central (ancient) parts of town, so to stroll along the tiny streets is just very relaxing.

Room was booked for one. Expected cramped second rate single but was double with excellent bed and fully equipped plus wonderful view of old town. Breakfast adequate and staff very hard working. pool area disappointing as shabby and not very inviting but early in season. Location good walk to old town along very busy main road with typical hectic traffic and little safe pedestrian places. hotel in suburb, near petrol station and giant supermarket and busy road. This neds more information as photos cleverly hide these facts.
This is a very private retreat-like setting, perfect distance from the lake and activities, but completely serene on a private rural road outside and away from everything. However, the setup is like a small resort property with plenty of outdoor space for all guests to enjoy nature, the pool, kids areas, picnic areas and communal opportunities without any imposition or lack of space and privacy. It is a true Tuscan experience, very well done, beautiful gardens and surroundings, friendly staff.
The owners and Elena are very kind. Elena was there to give us the keys and she waited for us (we where one hour later than expected). A bottle of wine and some coffee were there, so we felt immediately welcome. Elena booked a very nice restaurant for us the first evening. The location is wonderful, we could see lago di Chiusi as well as lago Trasimeno on the property. The property is also very beautiful and the swimming pool is very nice.
Location, clean spaces, veggie garden on the backyard, comfy bed, very well furnished kitchen, excellent breakfast and staff beyond amazing!
Roberta and Simone, the owners are wonderful hosts that treated us as dear friends and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasurable! My wife and I will return to their B&B in a heartbeat when a new opportunity comes. Highly Recommended place, lovely and caring hosts!!!
Monica, the owner is kind, sweet, very friendly and did everything she could to make our our stay pleasant. The rooms were spacious and clean. Thr location couldn't have been better. The view of the lake was beautiful and the garden was lovely. It was a relaxing , low key vacation. The bed and breakfast is centrally located right near the local shopping , just s few steps away
The accommodation was great. Corrado was an exceptional host. Very responsive to our emails. The rooms were spacious, bed very comfortable and kitchen had most things we needed to prepare breakfast for ourselves and even a few dinners. It was very nice having a washing machine! It was a few kilometres from town but that was an easy drive. Very good value.
Room and bathroom spacious and comfortable. Staff pleasant and very helpful; helped bring luggage up and down stairs. Gave good recommendation for local restaurant. Very clean and centrally located in old town. Easy, nearby parking. Easy walk around town and to beautiful views of lake. Very nice breakfast and coffees, with choices of salty and sweet.
The location was wonderful - Castiglione del Lago was a beautiful place to visit and the accommodations were perfect. They were very trendy with an amazing patio overlooking the square. It was nice to have restaurants and cafes just a few steps away. Laura was an excellent communicator and took wonderful care of us!!!
It was a perfect location for me. It was quiet. A supermarket was 2 minutes on foot. Mrs. Roberta was nice and she prepared a bed for my little daughter. Having a car space was a plus.
Personal suggestion: It wasn't clear to me that it was a shared kitchen it is better to highlight it, but it was no problem for us
The owners are so kind. Welcoming & friendly.
Excellent breakfast with fruit, ham and cheese & pastries.
Don’t expect luxury, very pleasant & exceptionally clean accommodation.
Great location for both lake & access to the lovely historical center of Castiglione del Lago . It is all uphill so be prepared.
Everything clean, everything well kept and attention to details around the property. From the pool you can see the surrounding hills and the Trasimeno lake. Excellent coffee and breakfast. Very kind staff. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the area. You will regret for not staying longer :).
This is a really incredible place. From the pool and jacuzzi you can watch over the beautiful glowing hills and the lake. One of the only places we stayed in Italy where the reception spoke good English. They staff was very nice as well. The nice city of Castiglione del Lago is really close.
We loved everything about this property, the owner, staff, and location. If you are anywhere near Castiglione del Lago, this boutique hotel is a must. We felt like honored guests here. Paolo and his family made our stay so comfortable and welcoming we didn't want to leave!
Nice and spacious apartment. The owner allowed us to arrive 2 hours earlier than our estimated time. And all the heaters were already turned on when we arrived. I didn't meet the owner, but feel like he is a nice man :)
The location was next to the historic center and with convenient parking. The private room with ensuite bathroom offered excellent value for money. nice outdoor space and big lounge.
The combination of beautiful historic rooms with some nice art. Very spacious and right on the main street. The staff was very helpful,.and even gave me an upgrade!
Very friendly hosts and the location is great overlooking the hills. Apartment is spacey and comfortable. The cats on the property are really cute and friendly :)
