Absolutely everything. Attention to the guests was beyond what you would expect. We got in quite late, but still we're offered a lovely drink by the fireplace that was list just for us.
Breakfast was great, filling and fresh.
Birthday dinner: food was 5 star. They have organised a cake to our specification as well as amazing service.
One of the ninights we were stuck waiting for a bus for two hours, and they had no trouble in picking us up :)
Cannot fault anything at all.

I came to Cava de' Tirreni to know the town from which my maternal ancestors emigrated from. I was not disappointed by simply wandering around. (Watch out for dog poop on the city sidewalks!) As with many cities, there appears to be a population of stray/unhomed cats in Cava and I'd like to hear that the city is working on best practices for remedying the suffering of street animals by promoting spay/neutering and fostering programs. I also only found Cava tourism brochures (including a free city map) on the last day of my stay in Cava -- at the public library and archive. It would be great if such promotional material was disseminated at all the places on Booking.com's radar.

This is a lovely town with a looooong history as a vacation spot for the well to do. Today, it's charming and still has much of its medieval-age architecture.
We made this a home base for exploring the larger area - Pompei, Herculeum, Amalfi coast, wineries - it was a great choice and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Italian town, with good food and facilities.
We ate at Osteria Nonna Maria, friendly staff and good value. Great pizza at Pizzeria Da Basilio di Trezza Basilio, mostly does take away, but very friendly.

Nice town, typical Italian, not as touristy as many destinations. Amalfi Coast is ridiculously crowded. Close enough to the coast to visit daily and escape back to sanity. Relaxing little town with lots of shopping restaurants and reasonable prices.

Very good place to chill out for some days.
Very good place to chill out for some days. A car is strongly recommended. There are some very good restaurants in walking distance to the hotel. We liked our stay very much. Ideal starting point for Pompei and the Vesuv as well as the Cilento. I would not recommend to go to Amalfi - although very close - as it is heavily overcrowded.

The breakfast was a beautiful spread that included many treats from the garden and delightful pastries. We all left very full and didn’t even eat everything that was offered. The pool and was crystal clear and the grounds impeccable that both provided just the right ambience for a quick stay. We never left the location since we were able to have dinner and a bottle of wine delivered to the hotel through the owner. They could not have been more accommodating and friendly.
When we got to the hotel there were three different parties going on on each part of the hotel. There were at least 150 people there and half of them were kids. There was also another party that started at around nine pm but was away from our room, thankfully. It was very noisy and there were no places for us to go. It was very hard to find the hotel and the roads were terrible. Breakfast was very average.
The restaurant in a different area was very good.
Really friendly and helpful staff, good reasonably priced food, free parking and comfortable rooms, which are quiet in spite of the hotel being next to the autostrada. Breakfast was a particular highlight, great choice of hot and cold dishes, fresh coffee and an amazing selection of cakes and tarts. We stayed here as we wanted a stop over on the way south and will certainly stay here again, the hotel is right next to the motorway exit.
It’s in the perfect location, right in the middle of everything. It’s clean and simply decorated, and the host goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need and your questions are all answered! The last time I was in Cava I stayed at a hotel that was more expensive (and was nice), but when I go back again I will be contacting Antonio; it was a wonderful place and a great price!
The location is perfect. The appartament is very central but at the same time it is not noisy at all. There are many nearby facilities, plenty bars and pizza restaurants. The apartment is very cosy, perfect for a family stay. The host is very kind and approachable, they stayed in contact all time to make sure we were OK. I would definitely stay here again. Luca
The property is a fully functional home in a lovely old villa, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the local mountain. The property is very well positioned in Cava—close to food shopping, restaurants, clothes shopping, and the train station. In addition, the hosts are very accommodating, kind, and readily available.
Selarno is a beautiful little town, and the property was super-clean and comfy. The highlight was our wonderful host which made us feel at home! The location is excellent, right near the main street which is full of little bars and restaurants in the evening. Very reccomended and great value for money!
The hotel had amazing views over the mountains and city. My room had a balcony with a view, there’s also a terrace where you can read and watch the view and relax. Breakfast was included (delicious Italian homemade cakes and makers) and fresh. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Excellent breakfast prepared by friendly host, including lovely cake and fresh cherries.
We enjoyed the pool and loungers, very quiet.
Cava de Tirreni is lovely town with plenty of cafes, restaurants. Train or local bus to Vietri gives easy access to Amalfi coast
All the staff were very friendly, particularly Grazie and Maria. Every effort was made to make us feel at home and very welcome. The room and the hotel were kept impeccably clean. Kitchen facilities were available to use by the residents at any hour.
this turned out to be a gem of a hotel. tucked away in a medieval village atop a hill, the Belle Epoque property is charming and beautiful. The restaurant was an unexpected surprise, it’s quite good with a nice wine list and impeccable service.
This was a last minute booking on our last night in Italy. Fabulous room with great view over the town square. Check-in was quick and easy as the owner met us right away soon after we booked. The town was lovely. Would highly recommend.
Very welcome host - Marco.
The apartment is very clean and situated in the historical center of Cava de Tirreni - just a few step from the main promenade and restaurants.
The rooms were big and spacious! It’s in the center of Cava with restaurants options downstairs.
We had snacks, juice and water when we arrived which was awesome.
The hotel is up in the mountains- nothing in walking distance. Very peaceful and amazing views - would recommend watching the sunset from the patio! Lovely pool
