The owner is a really sweet lady that advised me some good local restaurants. The price/quality relationship is - 10/10. ! And they have a relly nice CAT!

Very spacious and well-equipped apartment at the top of the owner's house. The owner, Margherita, is an exceptional host who really cares about your comfort and well-being. She goes out of her way to allow you to have a nice stay. The other occupier of the house is a lovely and friendly dog.
There is a pretty garden, which you are welcome to use. The house is in a quiet area on the edge of Chatillon, in a strategic location just a few minutes drive from the motorway exit. You can easily reach from home all sorts of attractions: the heart of the Valtournenche is 20-30 minutes away, and so is Aosta. And you are literally in front of the beautiful Castello Gamba, which contains the very interesting collection of modern art of the region of Val d'Aosta and has extensive grounds.
In the past, when choosing to stay in the main Valley (as opposed to mountain locations up the secondary valleys), I went to a hotel in Saint Vincent, but the stay at Chez Margot was much more pleasant and warm and far better value for money I will certainly return here!

The restaurants disappointed us because at times we found them closed. Bistroquet, Atmosphere and Summer were the ones we found open. Bistroquet was the best for what we wanted, being close to the hotel. opens at 19.00 and above all good food and friendly staff.

Flew to Malpensa and set off to ski in Cervinia with a hire car. As Cervinia can be expensive and we were unsure of road conditions this town was a great place to stay en route. Clean and comfortable .

Incredibly beautiful place to visit.
Incredibly beautiful place to visit. We loved our stay there! It is surrounded by these majestic, snowy mountains all around. We care for clean air and tranquility, and you bet you will find both there! We visited many castles in the region and we did it all by bus and long hikes. It is somewhat easy (and cheap) to travel around Aosta valley by bus. Ussel castle in Châtillon was an awesome uphill hike. We also visited Fénis castle, Verrès castle, the city of pont-Saint-Martin and it's historic roman bridge etc. There's a lot to see around there! Be prepared to walk a lot though, and uphill with intense elevations. We also went skiing in Breuil-Cervinia (about an hour north from Châtillon). Super recommended! If you like history, clean air, tranquility, medieval streets and castles and breathtaking landscapes, you should consider a trip to Châtillon or the cities nearby.
About the food: we are vegetarians, and since this is a small city, all restaurants will serve traditional food or options that we don't eat. For most people who eat meat, that will not be an issue at all.

We were surprised was how expensive it is to use the motorway from Chatillon to the neighbouring village of Aosta. A ten minute drive on the motorway costs 15.90 euros. Whereas a one hour drive from Turin Airport (Caselle) to Chatillon costs only 12 euros.
Lovely large room with large bathroom in chalet-like attic. Everything was spotless and comfortable, well decorated and with some amazing children's books as a bonus! The location is right in the middle of old-town Chatillon, near a great pizzeria (the Cervino), across the street from a superette, and with breakfast bars with terraces up and down the street. Melanie was a great host as well, she lives in the floor below the room.
Apartment is new, clean and spacious. Wifi is very good. Kitchen well equipped to prepare your own meals and there is a Carrefour across the road - 2minutes walk. Washing machine and clothes drying rack was a great help - we are walking the via Francigena. Jacopo gave very precise instructions on how to enter the apartment - very good communication, Would stay here again if we return to Châtillon
Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Room was very spacious, with comfortable beds. The price/value ratio was extremely good. Free parking and having our pets stay for free was a definite bonus. The hotel's restaurant was an absolutely positive surprise, with good selection of (local) food and wines, pizza for the kid, and extremely helpful and friendly staff.
The hotel is well positioned for access to Aosta and Cervinia. The room was cozy and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hosts are super nice, they waited for us later than the deadline for the check-in after some unexpected delays in our trip. They even offered us a ride from the train station in the night - a big thank you!
The house is very big and there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, right in the center of Chatillon: bars, restaurants and supermarkets are at a walking distance. The host is very nice, always ready to help the guests. Warmly recommended!
Food and the staff are fantastic, best breakfast in a European hotel I ever had.
Location is good with enough free parking space.
Room and balcony are spacious with a good view.
Special full SPA experience booked only for you with a reasonable price.
Very homely, with great views of Chatillon and the mountains. A peaceful night’s sleep. Nice breakfast. Lovely hosts who booked us a table at a great local restaurant and who we enjoyed chatting to at breakfast.
The room was all wood and very well kept. Everything was clean. The hotel staff were amazing. The location is excellent. I would go back there next time I visit Aosta valley
The location is perfect. It's located in the heart of Chatillon, pretty easy to get there from the train station or bus terminal. A few nice restaurants around the area.
the family run hotel is quaint and comfortable. The family matriarch also is the taxi in town which worked out great for one of our group. cooperative and charming
