I think, there is a big problem with hotels and apartments in Italy. But I was really surprised with this hotel. We loved our stay at Hotel Ferrari. We extended our stay from four to six nights! The staff are wonderful. We had a large triple room with a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The cleaning staff were very thoughtful and brought a third luggage rack for us when they noticed we had 3 suitcases. The room also has a safe with a key and a refrigerator. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed the location, a short walk to the marina, train station, and city center. Chiavari is a lovely town and a great base for exploring the region. It is also a very good value.

The location is fantastic. The train station is a 10 minute walk away and is a central line. The town is so nice and full of history. The beach is a 10-15 walk with a fantastic selection of restaurants, there is also lots of retail shopping. The lady who greeted us was lovely and spoke great English. We received clean towels daily and she tided the room on a daily basis which was great.

We only stay one night for stopover and it was very good! Large and very clean room with good sized bathroom. Breakfast was great with lots of homemade choices. The owners were very nice, very helpful and welcoming. Free parking. We all felt very welcome.

Good space, working kitchen. Abit of a walk to main part but great grocery shop around the corner and not a long walk to the beach. Host is absolutely lovely!!
