Fantastic location right off the highway for those that are travelling and just want a quick stop for the night. The beds were quite comfortable. 24-hour check-in was definitely appreciated and otherwise not easy to find. Price was good. Just be warned that this hotel is straight out of the 70s and has not been updated. It is what it is. Again for those just looking for a clean and easy place to stop, I don't think its a problem. If your looking for modern and renovated, go somewhere else.

Never stay at this hotel. I had a terrible experience with Stefano Poggiani and would never recommend this hotel to anybody.

Town of Chiusi consist of two parts.
Town of Chiusi consist of two parts. Stick to the historical side on the hill for best town experience, good restaurants and Tuscan feeling. Use the newer part of the town only for your grocery, petrol and laundry needs.

Chiusi is a quaint town on top of a hill with beautiful views and is a great place for enjoying a walking day with nice things to see. The big thing for me was touring the subterranean labyrinths to see water cistern systems that were built in the first century and the underground labyrinths that had burial crypts labeled in Etruscan and Roman (latin). Rich in history and engineering.
Extremely well furnished and equipped apartment. The owner spared no efforts to make it comfortable, with attention to details. Very nice neighborhood. Free parking space in front and the streets nearby. The nice restaurant across the street offer 10% discount to Luca’s guests. And Lucas the owner was simply wonderful. Very thoughtful and accommodating. He even made the appointment for us when we inquired about where to go for a covid test. We would like to stop in Chiusi again when we are in the area, just to stay there!
Raphaela and Donatella are exceptional hosts, and the hotel is in a beautiful palazzo. We stayed for two nights and took an early train to Assisi on the second day.
They served a beautiful breakfast with home baked pastries, Its the best breakfast we had during our two months in Italy. Donatella is a trained pastry chef, and then Raphaela gave us a ride in his car to the station so that we would not miss our train.
We have no reservations recommending the Residenza Ricci.
This place is practical and welcoming--not about charm or fanciness--it's just perfect for what it is! A couple of blocks from the train station. The town of Chiusi Scalo is like the locanda--clean, practical, convenient. The family that runs it seem sweet, welcoming, and hard-working. The restaurant has a great menu. I only had pizza and a side dish, and they were delicious. My stay was only for one night in between things, but it was a pleasure. Huge room. Clean bathroom.
Great location in historic center. Wonderful host Andrea gave us a warm welcome w/easy check-in/out The apartment has everything a couple needs for a base that's perfect to enjoy Chiusi as well as all the other towns and countryside in this beautiful area of Tuscany. Bed was very comfortable, strong wifi when I needed to work, easy parking nearby, and the pictures represent the reality. Super sweet little place that we'll be happy to return to. Grazie!
Extremely friendly and caring hosts. It is a family- run marvel of a B&B. Exeptional service, great place with historic rooms, big peaceful garden and jacuzzi with bar. It felt like a mix of museum, family home and garden made secret resort, we loved all and could have stayed longer. Thank you for this fantastic visit to Chiusi ( lovely old city by the way, with several museums, two Gelaterias and more)
This little family run B&B is in a convenient location very near the railway station in Chiusi.
The room we stayed in was attractively furnished and comfortable - it had very effective air conditioning which was needed in the hot weather.
The bathroom was small but well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant.
Claudio is very charming and kind, the property is clean and cared for. Wish I spoke Italian, language was an issue. Conveniently close to the train station. Nice simple room for the night. Breakfast was delightful. Great cappuccino Claudio! Good neighbourhood with restaurants nearby. Thank you for the hospitality on my journey to Tuscany for an art retreat.
Paula was sweet and accomdating, on our dinners she gave us good wines and the place was lovely decorated. We wanted to rent a bike and she came with us to help us sort it out. Paula is putting a lot of attention to details and the area near chiusi is beautiful.
The location was perfect for exploring Tuscany and is conveniently located. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the food in the restaurant/tavern was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Staff were marvellous, friendly and extremely welcoming. Location is excellent. Hotel is beautiful and sitting infront of a roaring fire was lovely. Tavern resto was good, tremendous mixed grill!
The staff, particularly Aliona, were exceptionally helpful. It had the charm of a traditional tuscan hotel with the comfort of a recent refurbishment. The food was the best i have had anywhere.
Perfect location - stunning view and great pool. Good restaurants and shopping (groceries) within a short distance. Nice market on Mondays in the new part of Chiusi. :-)
Excellent location and house, very clean and spacious, very nice terrace and very near to the center of Chiusi. I really recommend. Very nice bathroom with great light.
