Borgo Canonica, hotel in Cisternino

Set in Cisternino, 43 km from Taranto Cathedral, Borgo Canonica offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant.

These i trulli dwellings were gorgeous. The breakfast was fabulous with many options, including omelettes. We also had dinner here one night, and the chef came out to speak with us for some time. We are "foodies", so we really appreciated this aspect. The wildflowers on the grounds were beautiful, which added to the beauty of this borgo.

La Casèdde, hotel in Cisternino

With free rental bike, La Casèdde is located in the heart of Itria Valley, 4.5 km from Cisternino. It features a garden and an outdoor pool.

Very quiet and intimate neighborhood. Great view from the roof terrace. The spacious appartment with free Wi-Fi was well-appointed and decorated in a homely design. Be aware that you need a car to get there! Our hostess sent us detailed instructions on how to reach the property. Very helpful. She helped us also to arrange other activities. THANK YOU, Graziana! especially for your recommendation of Masseria.😀 Delicious and varied breakfasts prepared by Signora Anna, fresh fruits, sweet pastries and warm croissants, really tasty local products : cheeses and cold cuts, homemade omellete. Incredibly clean place!... so fresh smelling bedding... Well-stocked kitchen. Cisternino - in my opinion 'hidden star of the region', very nice city (with adorable white, old town) is 10 minutes by car from here to have dinner there. I highly recommended La Casedde! 😍

I Giardini di Pomona, hotel in Cisternino

We lost when looking for the place, but the owner was very patience and give us direction. Though they don’t speak good English and we don’t speak Italian. It was a wonderful experience to stay in such an apartment and to walk around the fig farm.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people.

Cisternino is a beautiful town with friendly people. My Italian is bad but I never had any problems being understood and everyone was very helpful. Go to a place once and they will remember you and your preferences. The food is delicious and plentiful. The town is clean and safe. One of the really nice things is you can go to the edge of town and farms and vineyards are a short walk. Have a drink or coffee in one of the cafes near the edge of town and enjoy the view.

Cisternino quite rightly is one of the most beautiful town of Italy. We so enjoyed meandering the warrens of beautiful cobbled streets surrounded by immaculate white buildings adorned with an assortment of vividly coloured flowers. The people were so friendly and food and general vibe was fantastic. A truly lovely place to stay and explore Puglia! Less touristy and packed than the neighbouring towns. We will be recommending to everyone we know .

    The town is lovely.

The town is lovely. Try to visit the weekly local farmers market (fruit, veg, olives, nuts, plants, cheese and more). There is one Monday mornings. Ask a local to direct you. There is a great bakery in town called Al Vecchio Forno on the Piazza Mazzini. This is a nice area to walk around at night and it's full of restaurants. A Pté nearby is a cute grocery to get cheese, meat etc. Please buy stuff here and support the local farmers. 😀👍 The town is very scenic, so visit anytime of day for good photo ops and views. For a good cup of coffee and the best pastries, go to a very popular spot called Almond just outside of town. It's not too difficult to find street parking here, and it has a nice outdoor seating area. Don't miss the creme filled Pasticciotto and Tette Delle Monache. Top! There's so much more to tell about Cisternino, but it's up to you to discover it yourselves 👍 Best to visit spring and autumn!

The Trullo Cime Bianche is just between Cisternino and Martina Franca. Arounded by a wonderful nature with many trulli still in fonction, two towns with an originally centre, ectraordinary olive trees on the way to the coast, with many different beaches. The region did keep a good rural feeling near to nature also the people. You find fantastic originally food. The host was extraordinary helpfull, charmimg and offering all you could find to eat in the garden. Quiet near are many cultural interesting lokations.

Lovely area for the traveller that likes access to several town and city centres with historic quarters. Cisternino itself is one of the nicest hilltop towns albeit relatively small. As a holiday location it provides easy access to many other centres, usually with a short drive. Other key locations like Matera can also be visited within a day trip.

This property is so special. Mimmo was an amazing host and made us feel at home. The restaurant is superb. The pool and garden is divine, so peaceful and comfortable. The sound of the cicadas amongst the olive grove took you far away from real life and into a serene atmosphere. This is all before the gorgeous trullis and gardens surrounding the trullis. The rooms have been updated with such great taste. I perfect stop to see towns like Ostuni, Cisternino and Alberobello.

Amazing value for money. Short drive from Cisternino which is a beautiful city and open buzzing until the early hours of the morning (we visited on a Saturday). The room was huge and clean, the pool was beautiful and empty when we used it in the morning. The staff were extremely helpful and helped me fill out a parking fine that was in Italian. Definitely recommend this place as a good, clean and safe base to explore the beautiful surrounding cities.

The house was very spacious for the two of us and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. There was no air conditioning, neither we missed it as the rooms are large and well ventilated, in an old building with thick walls and great thermal insulation from the scorching heat outside. Anyway, a fan is provided. The location is absolutely fantastic, very close to Cisternino historic centre, but away from the lively night 'movida'.

The apartment is spacious, clean, beautiful and close to the center of town. The owner is very nice and checked in with me often to be sure I was happy. Cisternino is a beautiful lively town with friendly people. Many great restaurants and bars. One night at a bar I spoke to three men about New York, Chicago and Frank Sinatra even though I barely speak Italian and the didn't speak English. Somehow we made ourselves understood.

Casa di Alice is a modern apartment in a quiet alley (apart from an excellent meat restaurant below which can be a little noisy midday over the weekend) The apartment is tech savvy in every way. Basic amenities are provided and it is tastefully appointed. The hosts are also wonderful, helpfully, accommodating and obliging. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, it’s the go to place if you’re visiting Cisternino. Highly recommend.

This was just a very lovely stay in historic Trulli in a beautiful location with fantastic hosts. It is a very relaxing environment and only 30 min to those things people want to visit in southern Puglia. The hosts are very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfasts were excellent and made with great care. The pool is a huge bonus in the hot summer weather. We had a great visit and look forward to visiting again!

Location close to Cisternino and other scenic nearby towns (Locorotondo, Ostuni, Alberobello etc.) is great .... just battled with data dropping along the little back country roads and therefore losing Google Maps, and our way! But that is no fault of the establishment.
