Il Borgo di Sabine is in an small tranquil hamlet out of Cittiglio - wonderfully peaceful. The original and quirky decor is wonderful but that doesn't mean everything isn't functional and comfy. The hosts are delightful. Drinks on the terrace in the evening sunshine was lovely after a long drive and supper was excellent. This is a hidden gem, great value and highly recommend it to one and all. Would love to come back and stay on a Saturday evening when Sabine hosts jazz nights.

There is a lovely winding garden outside of the hotel and you have plenty of space to park your vehicle in a private parking space that is locked by a gate. The room was very clean. The windows were well-closing and prevented the noise from the nearby trainstation from disturbing too much. There was a great variety of snacks to choose from at the breakfast buffet (but mostly sweet). The shower was great in terms of regulating the temperature as well as concerning the waterpressure.AnitaGermany
