Everybody was extremely friendly, and the place was spotlessly clean. The train station was a 5 minute walk away so very convenient to travel to Trieste, Milan, Udine or Venice .

We had a very nice overnight stay at Ostarie Vecjo Friul 1901. The owner, Iacopo, was very welcoming and friendly. The well appointed and clean rooms are in the beautifully restored building at the rear of the Osterie, overlooking the quiet courtyard where there is a secure car park. Breakfast was very good with delicious local produce and an excellent cappuccino! We are looking forward to visiting again when the restaurant is open.

Extremely welcoming host. We arrived pretty late, when the restaurant already closed officially. We came for some drinks and were brougt the variety of food (panini's, sandwiches, snacks). The rooms are new and clean. Breakfast is more focused on sweet rather than savoury, but was pretty good.
