The Trout Lodge is located in Collagna, in the middle of the apuan Alps. A great place for hiking and cycling. The Trout Lodge itself ist absolutely amazing. Beautiful, spotless clean and Spacious rooms, great handmade breakfast and a very kind and helpful owner and staff. This was my third stay here and it will not be the last.

We are very happy to have stayed here! The owner, even though he doesn't speak English and we Italian - showed amazing hospitality!
We had a great dinner, prepared by him next to a warmly crackling sound of a fireplace (which was so soothing as there was still snow around the place when we visited! :D).
And he showed us a nice easy hike to take in the morning.
The room was clean and warm enough and he kindly provided the cot for our baby with the sheets and all :)

Charming little hotel smack in the centre of village, stylish yet cozy room with kettle, stylish interiors, kind personnel, great breakfast with local produce. We liked the ancient guidebooks in the bar. Draught beer was also good!

great location and view out of the balcony. great fascilities with the pool, car park and especially liked the bathroom. very comfortable.
Nice little town in a lesser-known part of Italy. The only issue might be that it cannot be easily reached with public transportation, but other than that it's a great area to spend a few relaxing days.
