The host was very helpful and has left a big variety and quantity of packed food for breakfast. It is an old big house. It is in the heart of Erice.
Very old town with many things to see.
Many restaurants for all kinds of food.
Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Apartment is located in the center of the old town, which is very nice. What we didn't like is a horrible and continuous noise coming from the water pomp, that we heard in our room. It was impossible to relax with this sound. Moreover we booked an apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't have. The host told us it was put in the add by mistake.

It's a fascinating medieval town where we spent many hours, we also had a lovely lunch at the convent restaurant.
We also went on the cable car with its fantastic view of Trapani below. There was actually nothing to do at the bottom so be went back up to Erice!

Erice is a mountain found in the limits of Trapani.
Erice is a mountain found in the limits of Trapani. You can access it by car or cable car, I would suggest using the cable car as it is more comfortable. The road leading to the top of the mountain is quite long and full of sharp bends. The village on top of Mount Erice is picturesque, every alley has its own character, some of them with sea views and other with country views. There is a public garden that it’s a must to visit with the view of Castello del Balio, Torretta Pepoli and Castello di Venere. The place is wonderful.
Well what can we say!! We needed a break and this was paradise for us.... The staff is superb (the house keeping lady and the gentleman's at the reception) the breakfast is delicious, and the view.... The view is the best view I ever saw in my life.... Try to take a room with the view as waking up to this view is priceless... The hotel was an ex convent so it's very old but still it's very comfortable... It's 3 mins walk from the square of erice... We will definitely come back again as we felt like home... Thank you ❤
We arrived in Erice and were picked up by the owners of the apartment, who gave us a tour of Erice and explained everything interesting about the city. The apartment had everything we needed (and more), with an amazing location in the center of the town. The bed was the most comfortable of all our experiences on Sicily, and we could even stay a little longer than usual and sleep in. Thank you for everything! ❤️
Al Postale 17 was a great little B&B right at the entrance to Erice. The host was a very nice woman and there is nothing I can really complain about or say was negative. Room was clean, morning coffee was great (I don't really eat breakfast but there were some pastries etc) and if you need to park the parking is right across from the B&B
centrally located near all the sights, restaurants and shops. accommodations were great: comfortable, warm heater, comfortable bed, big shower with plenty of hot water.
Maurizio picked us up at the free parking area which can be a bit difficult to find and brings us to our apartment. coffee maker in the room made tasty coffee.
we liked everything about the property. in particular, Antonio went out of his way to help us easily arrange for a taxi to the Palermo Airport, instead of the multi-step. stress-filled transportation mess that we thought would be good. we loved everything about the hotel and Erice is a jewel of a town. lots to see.
Historic feeling, pretty hotel. The staff were kind and professional. Quiet and a very pleasant stay. We were there in April and there was free parking just outside the Porta Carmine town gate but you have to circle the town to get to it and stay out of the ZTL. There restaurant opened to serve us dinner early.
This is one of our best hotel stays ever. The location of the hotel is the best but the best part of it is the staff and management. Antonio, the owner, is simply fantastic ! He is full of advice, always available and ready to make your stay a pleasure. We loved it. Thanks Antonio !
The breakfast was very delicious and often homemade. The owners were really nice and polite and made our stay feel special! The room was clean and spacious. The place has an amazing garden with perfect views over the hills. 100% recommend if you like to feel the real Sicily.
This a beautiful period property converted from a blacksmiths lots of original features and very good value for money at the price we paid. The location is handy for the main square having said that nothing is very far away in Erice. We really liked the little courtyard.
Huge room in a former convent with lots of history and character. On the quieter side of Erice away from the tourist traps but just minutes by foot from the centre. Easy access with parking close by (EasyPark). Staff were friendly. Good dinner I’m the hotel
Very friendly hosts. They welcomed us with a local dolci. They were very helpful with all our questions. Free parking in front of the apartment which is really rate in Erice. Great location with a view! Perfect. Everything was great
Location is amazing, with a wonderful view from my room. Hoeever, it is a 2* hotel, bathroom was super small, you can hear efrom the surrounding rooms. Check-in guy was rather cold, the morning staff was better.
Host was very nice, spoke fluent English, dinner excellent, room clean. Rustic country side style, in a little town. The price is fair what you get in comparisson to other sites we stayed in Sicily.
Erice is a jewellery box of Sicily. The B&B is very close to the public parking, easy to reach. The room has a very nice cozy style. Maybe it is really excellent in a heatwave.
Great location, amazingly helpful staff, exceptional view from our room. Breakfast included. Airport transfer from Trapani Airport easily arranged by hotel.
The host were wonderful. The property was on 3 levels and had a wonderful roof top view of Trapani below. They provided many small treats, coffee, and wine
