Nice clean private room in the countryside. You can use fridge, coffee machine, kitchen utensils. Very tasty breakfast. We had just a sleepover but I can imagine staying here for few more days and explore Tuscany :-)
Really nice staff but they don't speak English, we don't speak Italian so the communication was kept via translator and by hands :-)
Razza del Casalone is an farmhouse complex in the heart Tuscany's Maremma area, just a 5-minute drive from Grosseto town centre and 10 minutes from fabulous Tuscan seaside.

Rustic, clean, comfortable. Lovely big swimming pool and grounds. Great on-site restaurant with local produce.

We chose Grosseto as a starting point to visit few places in Toscana by car. For this purpose, city was ok.
Grossetto itself inside the walls of the old town is ok, Piazza Dante deserves a visit. Not so much to do but ok, especially for the restaurants nearby (we have been at:
Il Melograno - tasty
Il Tagliapasta Grosseto - awesome
Locanda de' Medici Grosseto - awesome).
Just outside the old town walls, Grosseto is a quite neglegted and unkept city, which is a real pity.

Grosseto is a beautiful walled city.
Grosseto is a beautiful walled city. You get a real feel for local life there. And there are many great places to wander and get food and wine. I especially loved walking around the city walls, and looking at the variety of architecture. It's also a perfect base for exploring the maremma national park nearby. Which I highly recommend if you love nature. We enjoyed exploring the supermarkets too, and buying local produce to cook meals. And tried the local chianti too. Super.

The old town in Grosseto had some charm, but on a Sunday there were no people and everything was closed. They were all at the beach. The rest of the city was not so much to see. So stay a night passing through the area, and choose other days than Sundays.

Grosseto is a quiet jewel of a town far from the American tourist trade. It has all the comforts of a small town with a train station, bus connections and great taxi service. You can walk the city streets or the great wall in the day time and see the happy people enjoying life. At night, you see the street restaurants filled with people enjoying the offerings of food cooked by experts. The Duomo bell counts the hours giving comfort to your ears. Grosseto is a small jewel in the crown of Italy. It is not far from the maddening rush of Rome nor far from busy Florence. This is the place to rejuvenate and to experience the quiet beauty of Italy.

We visit Siena , hot spring in Saturnia and San Stefano!
You definitely need a car !
Good food and great prices and nice people !
Restaurant Gli Attortellati was delicious !
This place is amazing. The host was very friendly and super supportive. He was always there when needed, the support he gave us was really outstanding and he exceeded our expectations as a host! The apartment is clean, nice and there is everything that is needed. I love the huge spaces outside, with gardens, massive fields and even a play area for kids with a trampoline and other equipment. My kids had a lot of fun playing there, then chasing the dogs and running around. This is one of the best places for family and children.
The host was really nice and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the area is nice, safe and central. Don't miss to visit Pizzeria Tuscany for a really good pizza and home made Tiramisu! Also: Cucina Tascabile, a really outstanding restaurant, with the lovely and talented owner Elena.
The are many restaurants, bars and shops around the corner. Grosseto is a really nice place to visit. The apartments kitchen is good equipped with basics, everything was clean and tidy.
Lovely old house!
Locanda Chic is a great location for a stop in Grosseto.
The whole property is spotless clean and full of light. Recently renovated, all looks fresh.
Breakfast is good, mainly sweet things but well prepared and the breakfast room again looks nice and fresh.
The main asset is Sofia who is friendly and helpful and she welcomes you in her place warmly but not intrusively, which is something I really appreciate it.
You know she is there for you.
The rooms are very close to the station and to the Grosseto historical city center. Both the rooms and the common space is very nice, modernized, clean, comfortable and quiet. Serena, could not welcome us at the time we arrived (late afternoon), but promptly all the instructions for a self check-in were given via WhatsApp. She also "took care" of us by asking if everything was fine all the time. Really appreciated!
The location was in central Grosseto on a quiet side street. A table was set with teas, coffees, and pastries. Milk and yogurts were in the refrigerator for us. The bathroom was very modern and clean. The kitchen was impressive even without a microwave. Walter won the hearts of the two women who were traveling with me. He is a very good host. We will definitely return to this jewel of an apartment.
The location is excellent: close to Grosseto and to the Etruscan monuments. The building is old but very beautiful. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equiped, evrything you need is there. The garden is enormous, with places to relax, including a fantastic swimming pool. This place is ideal for people who like to explore the Etruscan antiquities in the nabourhood.
Good apart hotel must have a car , 10 min drive from Grosseto
It’s like an apartment , it has a little kitchen but if you want to use it they charge you 20 euro a day . Microwave did not work
Good breakfast
Good parking space
Must be able to use a phone line as people is not always at reception it’s an apt building that two floors are the apart hotel
The hotel is set in a charming garden setting, the interior was well furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. Extremely large rooms. There is a restaurant onsite with garden seating. Unfortunately, we were unable to try it as there was a special event going on during our stay. Nice charming property and we would stay here again.
excellent location, free parking about 5 min walking distance.
stylish accommodation, top rated outfit, excellent bed and bathroom facilities.
good breakfast in the beautiful living room annex kitchen.
restaurants right on the doorstep of the B&B.
the location of the B&B at/inside the wall of the historic city is unique!
Everything was great. The room was nice and clean. In the kitchen was everything what we need, plus the coffemaker was for free. Everyday, during the morning they sanitized the common areas. The hosts helped with references about the best restaurants and were so kind.. Definitely recommend. :) :)
The location is right by the side of the train station, so it was very easy to find and surprisingly there wasn't any noise. Everything else in town was also walking distance away from the hotel. The staff are pretty friendly (although not all of them speak English), the room was clean and cosy.
Simply amazing.
Great location (a great starting point for exploring southern Tuscany, close to the sea, tranquility and privacy while close to the city of Grosseto).
Perfectly clean and nice accommodation with complete equipment.
And above all incredibly helpful, kind and warm owners.
Spacious new apartment whit luxury and design details. One of the best position in the old town, faced on the historical square “Piazza del Mercato”. All the best of Grosseto is around you walking throw the central pedestrian area.
The architecture, the transsexual art work in the lobby as well as the equisit breakfast buffet variety. A special mention should receive the roof top terrace. Wonderful view of the sunrise.
very clean; perfect service; staff very nice and very helpful place; recommend when someone wants a quiet place and relax. Grosseto very close to the place and also nearby the sea.
