The property is up in the hills above Verona, with lovely views across Verona to the West and Este to the South East. The apartment (there is only one available) is very spacious, with a large sitting room, a separate kitchen, a large bedroom, separate bathroom and a private balcony. It is also beautifully furnished, with elegant wooden furniture in the bedroom. The owner, Luciana, was absolutely delightful and could not have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, with scrambled eggs made using eggs from Luciana’s chickens. Overall it was far better than the descriptions on Booking.com led us to expect. In our month-long tour across northern Italy this was the best place we stayed.

The location was excellent, surrounded by restaurants. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was big and wonderful. Parking was in a private, undercover garage with a seperate lockable door. A lovely, friendly staff member took us to the garage (150 metres away)'so we wouldn't get lost. It was a small gesture that was greatly appreciated after a long drive. They also helped us to get back there the next day. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

2nd time visiting so we knew what to expect, the location is amazing, staff are friendly, breakfast is great, room was big - just what we wanted! Bath and shower and good bathroom amenities - shower gel, shampoo etc.

Great location, helpful staff, large clean and comfy room. No noise from the outside once you closed the windows, nut open them and you can let the sounds of Verona in.

The room was well appointed on the third floor
It was quite quirky being in the roof of the building and had beautiful wood work
The hotel was a short walk to the amphitheatre in the centre of the city and on the main artery to the railway station
