Casa Montalgallo is just outside of Lucignano, a beautiful medieval town.
Both Francesca and Filippo came to greet me personally, offered me a welcome
drink and did everything to make my stay memorable. In the evening they allowed me to go with them and their family to celebrate the Maggiolata.
The room has a nice surprise when you
come in and a great view over the valley.
Best stay so far in Italy!

Lucignano is a perfect place for quiet, easy holidays with many options to travel around some of the most picturesque places in Tuscany like Val d'Orcia or Chianti. Lucignano itself is a model hilltop Tuscany village, quaint and not too overcrowded.

Communication with Massimo and Bruna prior to our visit was excellent. During our stay, Bruna did an amazing job looking after us. This historic building is unique and it was a pleasure having the opportunity to stay in it. Lucignano is a beautiful town situated in stunning countryside. The position of Residenza d'Epoca Ill Cassero is perfect. I would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.

The host recommended us good restaurants and was very kind and helpful. The location is very good - close to breathtaking Lucignano and it’s easy to get there. It’s a pity we couldn’t stay longer… Don’t hesitate to book your stay and enjoy beautiful Tuscany!

We ate outside most days and thoroughly enjoyed the pool area. The pool was cleaned daily and was perfect for our group of 11. The house is very well positioned for visiting Siena, Arezzo, Pienza, Cortona or Montepulciano. All in all, It was a perfect Tuscan adventure for all of us. The apartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. It has beautiful views and is in walking distance to the historic center of the pretty town of Lucignano. Great location to explore the towns we wanted to see in eastern Tuscany. Very comfortable for our week's stay.

The location in the beautiful town of Lucignano was wonderful, perfectly located for our day trips to the Val d’Orcia, Siena and Firenze. The pool about a 15mins walk was very appreciated in the July temperatures of 32-38C. Also, the breakfast offered at the nearby caffe (not the nearest one).
