We had the standard apartment and it had everything you need, the bed was comfortable.
Offering mountain views, Casa Ortensia Blu is an accommodation set in Maslianico, 4.1 km from Chiasso Station and 4.2 km from Villa Olmo.

Great for 7 of us to stay! Good value for the area. Stefania was lovely and looked after us very well. It was a great location, walkable to town if you're fit, reasonable parking nearby but check for local closure signs for grass cutting etc.
The two bedroom apartment has the bathroom off the double bedroom with the yellow beds, the other bedroom is the twin but it's really between the double and the kitchen/diner so if you need proper privacy then it might not be for you. Balcony is off the dining area and looks out over the street and up to the mountain.
The bathroom for the ground floor blue double bedroom is not adjacent, it is up a few steps of the stairs, so although private for the double I would not call it en suite.
One bed apartment has the balcony looking out over the side yard and with mountain views, bedroom is en suite, was a lovely space on the first floor.
We didn't pay for breakfast but Stefania had left us biscuits, juice, some little butter and jams, bottled water, gifts, all very cute x
Hotel Como is set 1 km from Como city centre and a 20-minute walk from the lake shore. The spacious rooms have parquet floors and air conditioning, and offer a flat-screen satellite TV and a minibar.

Breakfast was very good, Hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy.
All staff couldn't help enough they were excellent.
Hotel Ristorante San Giuseppe is located in Cernobbio, within a 10-minute walk of the town centre and the shores of Lake Como. Villa Erba exhibition centre is only a short walk away.
Right on the shore of Lake Como, opposite Urio Pier, Hotel Orso Bruno is a 20-minute drive from Como. Rooms are simply furnished and some overlook either the mountains or the lake.
Surrounded by a garden, Albergo Ponte Vecchio is set in Cernobbio, 5 minutes' walk from the shores of Lake Como. It offers paid parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas.

the bed was surprisingly comfortable and it was an easy walk down to the town centre and lake. The parking was fairly close and although open to the public felt safe

An old town peppered with villas, museums and touristy places. The old town atmosphere was great and the villas are quite spectacular, making the visits to them quite a sight. The museum we went to, silkworm museum was very interesting and informative. A good place to visit.
