The internal decor is stunning. All patiently decorated in Moorish style, it gathers authentic pieces from around the middle east and perfectly fits inside the Kasbah area of Mazara. It has two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location is perfect, at the entrance of the Kasba and near the harbour.

First you are greeted by Angelo on his bike and lead to the parking space, before he hoists your suitcase on his bike and escorts you to the flat. Luciana then greets you with some refreshments and a detailed history of the city and also gives excellent tips. We had probably the best pizza in Italy, based on her suggestion.
The place was large and well furnished. Like an apartment. It is in the center and all parts are walkable.
It was like visiting a favorite aunt and uncle.

Divided intro four neighborhoods, across four different religions and cultures, the city center is a jewel. A great tale of history and cohabitation. Visit the Muslim quarter, the churches and cathedral, all of them are extremely picturesque.
Also, stop by the icecream shop next to the cathedral park. You will find good coffee, cannoli and ice cream. Also, the restaurants are not to be missed, and you must try the famous gamberi rossi din Mazara, raw... they melt in your mouth.
Go see the miniatures of Ignazio Auguanno inside the Jesuit seminar building. A charming man and experience.

The city has a wonderful location on the southern coast of Sicily. The beautiful old part in the center has been restored and has become a charming place for a walk and an evening aperitif. The promenade is especially beautiful. It has become a favorite place for morning coffee and for an evening walk. The town itself is conveniently located for sightseeing in the southwest of the island and Palermo. It is quiet and peaceful and surprisingly clean unlike most Sicilian towns

There is so much to see and do in this small town with dome world class attractions including museums, churches, and amazing architecture. The 3 quarters—Arab, Jewish and Christian—are great to explore, also ruins and relics from Norman times. It’s got good facilities and restaurants, and is unbelievably scenic!

Lovely place, one of Sicily's more interesting smaller coastal towns. Some lovely architecture and urban spaces, good restaurants, very compact town centre -- and very clean and well-kept. Also the strong Arab influence gives it another dimension.

There are plenty of places to eat and the restaurants are good and reasonably priced. The view along the seafront is lovely, although there is not a sandy beach, so there's nobody swimming there.
It's not a town that is very used to tourists, so communication can be a little challenging at times.
In Sicily, in general, there is a problem with flytipping, and Mazara del Vallo is not immune to that.
Overall, it's a nice enough town for eating out, but not a huge amount to do other than that.

Lovely, not too big town to walk around.
Lovely, not too big town to walk around. Some grat squares and streets. The long and varied history of the city is felt.
Try tunisian food at Eyem Zemen. Famous red Mazara shrimps are very good, the meat is not sweet, but price is high - 4 pieces for 24 euros.

There was nothing left wanting! The accommodations were comfortable, up to date and if you like coffee, that is covered with any brewing device you use available.
Sandro’s advice provided about food, beaches and desserts available locally was pitch perfect for us.
We are traveling by bicycle and they provided secure storage that left us confident to move about town on foot as we chose.
The hosts were so friendly and very well-informed about their town. I didn't know about Museo del Satiro Danzante and am so happy Luciana told us about it and we had time to visit. Mazara del Vallo is worth more than the one night we gave it. We also liked the washing machine! As touring cyclists, this is a feature second only to secure overnight storage for our bikes.
the Kalibia Suites was a great place to stay - clean, extremely attractive with an ocean view. The host, Simone, was a very helpful and pleasant person. Even though it was a holiday and there were a lot of people on the street, the amazing technology of new Italian doors and windows blocked out all noise. Highly recommend for your stay in Mazara del Vallo.
Very central, very clean, lovely breakfast area with coffee, Marsala wine and nibbles available there, very good breakfast and outstanding staff. Would highly recommend the “Blue room with private sitting area and outdoor deck space. Immaculate and very central position. Parking a little distance away but Vito helped us there
Vito, the host, is a hard working man with a very good heart. we had a lovely suite on the top floor (blue room) that had an outdoor terrace with an additional enclosed area with refrigerator and cooking hub. we bought bread and cheese and meats and ate here more than once.
A short walk from good restaurants and the main square and adjacent to the Kasbah make for a perfect location. Rafaello was extremely helpful in guiding us to his property when our GPS got confused and helping us with parking. Our room was modern, large and comfortable.
Spacious and well-equipped apartment (including washing machine) in a newly renovated building near the historic center of Mazara del Vallo. We had no problem finding free parking a short distance from the accommodation. The host gave us many useful tips.
Location was great! Right on the sea front, the hotel itself was clean, perfect little studio and overall I felt really at home here. The host was friendly, kind and always responded to what I needed. Highly recommend !
Parking space right in front of the apartment, the host Filippo is really friendly, met us to help avoid traffic and gave us good advice on restaurants and touristic attractions to visit. 100% recommended!
Everything was just perfect. Beautiful apartment in the center of Mazara del Vallo. The owners welcomed us and kindly provided very useful information. Highly recommend!
Amazing apartment in the city center of Mazara, exceptionally kind hosts who helped us find parking and restaurants. Very spacious and well-furnished. Super comfy beds.
