Location is at the train station, the city centre is on a hill. But I chose this with purpose, it fits my style of travelling. Room was good, also bed and pillow. Staff was helpful once I was there.
I plan to go back in a few years' time

Very quaint. The Norman castle is exquisite and the museum is one of the best in the area. Arrifacts from Greek, Norman and Daunian era.
Very interesting. Excellent as a base to visit all the other Norman cities in the area and we lease don’t forget the Montecchi lakes of volcanic origin. Castelmezzano is a must.

Melfi is a beautiful unspoilt town, and it was very enjoyable to wander about in both the old, and newer quarters. People were friendly, and keen to find out where we were from - it doesn't seem to get many Irish (or English) tourists. Fine food and delicious local wine in Grotta Azzurra Melfi; views of a great castle and even greater extinct volcano. We'd go back.
Pierluigi is a very friendly host, with lot of suggestions about what to see, where to eat etc.
Our room and bathroom were very spacious, clean and provided with everything you need. Large self-service breakfast, without time slot. Parking is free, right in front of the house. The quality of the accomodation is even better then in many hotels.
The street is quiet at day, but lively in the evening.
This is an apartment in a quiet location about 1Km outside the Melfi city center. The apartment has 4 rooms with private bathrooms and a small kitchen/living room. The staff is very kind and the rooms are comfortable. They also provide safe car parking.
It is certainly recommended if you don't need to stay close to the city center.
This is a beautiful classic residence at the center of Melphi, with amazing view of the village from above, a nice roof garden and plenty of space. It lies at the center of Melfi in a quiet and picturesque neighborhood. A lot of classic architecture to browse around and plenty of sightseeing, restaurants and shops in the area.
The rooms were large with a great shower and air conditioning. The pool area was lovely and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and a well stocked snack bar. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!
Lovely apartment! Beautiful floors, well-equipped kitchen, amazingly large bathroom with good shower and washing machine, and great terrace. Jo, the kind host, even gave me a ride when I checked out so I wouldn’t need to call a taxi. Highly recommend staying here while in Melfi!
