I highly recommend the accomodation to anyone planning to stay in the Pisa area.
The spaciious appartment is fairly new and clean and has all the necessities.
The beds were comfortable and extra sheets and blankets are provided.
The seperate kitchen is great, and there is even a little garden.
The extremely nice and helpfull hosts Carlo and Roberta made our stay here even better, and drove us around Pisa and Lucca on several occasions.
Although a car is not necessary the bus stop is nearby I would recommend a rental car

The entrance is much nicer than the photos suggest so gives a good elegant impression. It's not a bland hotel interior.
Room good - light colours and it was next to the internal court yard so it was quiet at night.
Bed firm (in a good way) which made for a great sleep. A single bed so not a massive room but I was a solo traveller for one night and the bathroom was a good size.
Thankfully the old style bed spread seen in the photos was not on my bed. This is much more modern (and frankly much cleaner because who knows who has sat naked or worse on them as I can't imagine they would be dry cleaned every time.
Breakfast good - I wasn't hungry for hours. Scrambled eggs tasted particulary good to me.
Location - if you are able bodied, it's just a enjoyable 10 min walk from station (close for shuttle when arrive.) The bridge to the other side where the Tower is located is pretty close too. I prefered being away from the touristy bit to get away from crowds - and there were nice restaurants near by if you walk around close by.

The location was fantastic, so convenient. Surprisingly not noisy at all. We enjoyed our breakfast coffee and bun in the cafe in the Piazza. Lovely tips and messages from the owner.

Location brilliant had to park just outside wall as it was 3.50 e an hour. As it was .75 c an hour outside. Good bathroom, kettle in room with teabags, good hanging space. Location 400 m to restaurants, 600 m to tower.
Hotel Il Giardino is next to Piazza dei Miracoli, with views of Pisa’s Baptistery from its courtyard. Rooms have free Wi-fi, modern paintings, and air conditioning.
Super service by the lady (who spoke perfect English) whom arranged the breakfast and showed us the rooms. Hotel is ideally located for people whom like a relaxing place close to nature and with a lovely garden. Some nice Italian family restaurants only 5-7min away by car. Top location.
Best hotel of our Italian trip so far. We arrived early and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. So welcoming and warm. Spacious double room and the pool was exceptional (1.2 m deep). Everything was clean and well kept and we would definitely come back.
