It is a very well located property in a stunning region. We so enjoyed our stay in a large comfortable room with terrific views over the rolling vineyards and the snow covered peaks beyond.
It's a steep walk up the hill back from the restaurant but the views are worth it

Monforte d'Alba was a dream.
Monforte d'Alba was a dream. The town was so sweet and full of incredible restaurants and such nice people. It's pretty steep so wear shoes with good soles if you plan to walk to the top of the town and see the clocktower - which is a must, the view is absolutely worth it! There's a wine shop that has all local Monforte d'Alba wines. I'm still dreaming of the macchiato and brioche con crema normale at the Grappolo d'Oro bar in the piazza. The church was beautiful too!! But really the scenery, fresh air, and countryside stole the show.

A great little town which we used as a base to explore the region. Picturesque traditional village atmosphere with a great restaurant called Felicin which we had dinner at twice as it was that good with amazing views. Also recommend Enoteca Rocca for lunch which was superb.

Service here is HORRIBLE. NO maid service, no help with check in, no breakfast (even though they say it is offered). the hotel is only accessible by foot and it is impossible to find with google. We waited 3 hours after I called the hotel number to have someone meet us at a parking area and help with bags.on our way out, we were informed 10 minutes before we scheduled help that he was “too busy” and we had to make do. This is a nice property but it is horribly run.
Fabulous location with great views! Property was only a couple years old, so everything was in great shape. It was very comfortable, and a welcome reprieve from hotels. We stayed for 7 nights & cooked dinner 4 nights. Loved, loved the welcome basket stocked with basics, and fridge contained yogurts, juice, milk & waters. Even a chocolate cake for dessert! And the food even got replenished every couple of days! Didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice.
I chose this place for the view that it promies, and it was fantastic - looking over some of the most attractive vineyard terrain in the world. Lovely bedroom, good kitchen facilities, good bathroom & shower. Monforte d'Alba is a fabulous village in the heart of the Barolo region (but without the incessant crowds of Barolo itself). This place even has a washing machine, which I found useful!
1) The view from our room !!
2) The little very nice pool very close by.
3) The spacy and elegantly decorated room(s).
4) The well working window-blinds, well sound-insulating windows and well working air-conditioning.
4) The beautiful surroundings.
5) The excellent food of the restaurant of the hotel, and the many very good restaurants within walking distance.
Being quite small, La Ribezza still offered all needed facilities and services. Helpful and friendly staff, wonderful location and the rooms were excellent. Best pool views in Barolo as well.
Plan a visit at the Conterno Fantino winery just above the hotel, best wines in Monforte d’Alba and really cool to learn about their business and taste all the best wines.
This is a great apartment in a fantastic location! Monforte is a beautiful hill town with great services and the apartment could not be more perfectly located. It’s very well furnished and very comfortable for a several day stay. Despite its location in the heart of town it is also very quiet. The best place we’ve stayed in our 3 week trip around Italy!
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The grounds are stunning, the pool/the entire hotel has an incredible view of the surrounding area and the rooms are very nice. The staff are so helpful, and accommodated an early check-in/late check-out. They have great Trek mountain bikes you can use for free. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options.
Firstly, I want to be fair to the hotel as it is in a beautiful location and the rooms were decently done. There is a fabulous rooftop and a pool. The beds are comfortable and they stocked the fridge and had a welcome basket when we arrived. The town is lovely and the views from the rooftop are unbeatable.
Rita is the perfect hostess - very attentive and helpful. The dogs are also very lovely
The view from the pool and terrace is stunning, with good seating options.
Located very close to the centre of Barolo area - everything is walkable from the apartment (as long as you can do steep hills!)
The hotel was delightful from start to finish, from the warm welcome of the staff, thoughtful touches in the room and common areas, to wonderful views from the terrace and pool area, excellent breakfast and unexpected parting gift. I would come back in a minute.
The food in the restaurant was outstanding. Room had big sunny terrace with views across the vineyard. The front of the property has panoramic views of pretty much the entire Barolo region. Wine tour and tasting done well. Overall a great stay.
The location is superb: in the middle of the wine production. We did a Barolo Master Class and this is an excellent introduction into understanding the structure and complexity of the local wines.
Great hotel. I would give it a ten if only the room had A/C. But keeping the windows open on a summer night did the job: you are on a hill, with not only beautiful views, but a cool summer breeze.
Amazing hotel and restaurant with a spectacular view of the surrounding area. Food at the restaurant and the service were “out of this world”! Will definitely be back whenever visiting the area.
Exceptional. We stayed at 8 places over a two week trip to Italy and this was the best place we stayed. The room and views are stunning. Breakfast was amazing, especially sat on the terrace.
