The hostess was so friendly and helpful. Fetched us from the station. We needed our Credentiale for the via Francigena, she drove us to the tourist office and then all around town. We enjoyed a lovely Breakfast with plenty of choice. Beautiful scenery, a wonderful experience!
It's a great choice.

We made a very last minute booking here as we were driving south from Tuscany to Naples. After our GPS took us through a very weird and overgrown track, we made it to Luciana's beautiful house. Luciana was there to greet us with a divine cake which was amazing as we hadn't given her much notice. The house is a home, lots of personal touches, feels like visiting a close relation! even though Luciana speaks no English and we don't speak Italian, we managed to communicate ok. The views are amazing, luckily we made it just before sunset so was able to watch the sun setting over the lake. Highly recommended if you have a car otherwise might be a bit tricky to get to.

Friendly staff, excellent location, clean and functional.
The Hotel Altavilla boasts a breathtaking view over the quiet and beautiful centre of Montefiascone, a town dating back to Etruscan times in the Lake Bolsena area.
Very nice staff. The bed was good and it was a quiet place. The hotel is very central
Montefiascone is a small town with a lot going for it.
Montefiascone is a small town with a lot going for it. It is rich with history and some of the streets take you back in time. It also has Lake Bolsena at its door which has opportunities to swim, boat and eat amazing pizza down by its shores. Everyone takes pride in what they do there, down to the restaurants and bike shops. It was everything you'd expect a charming little Italian village to be!

Montefiascone is a beautiful old town set on a hill with glorious views of Lake Bolsena. Rocca dei Papi has 360 degree stunning views, the Basilica of Santa Margherita and the crypt is well worth a visit and just strolling around the narrow cobbled streets is lovely.

We were there on a National holiday so lots of things were closed and the weather wasn't great however it was lovely to walk around the town it's quite small and easy to see in a short time. We had a fantastic meal in Dante's, it was full of locals and the staff were really friendly and very patient with our very limited Italian
My stay at Palazzo Frigo was marvelous beyond words. The location is perfect, overlooking the fountain in the main square. My room was beautiful, full of air and light. My favorite part of the hotel was the the rooftop terrace, which has a marvelous view of the lake and the town. Sitting up there at night looking at the stars and speaking about love and life was my favorite part of my entire trip to Italy. The hotel director, Alessandro, is especially kind, helpful and generous. I highly recommend you stay at this divine hotel!
Everything at La Carrozzo d'Oro was very nice.
The menu in the restaurant was delicious, the hosts were helpful, polite and delivered a perfect service, the view from the estate, the suites are beautiful and the area around the Bolsonaro lake is amazing.
We had a very nice trip to Pitigliani and the San Sebasto caves and to the town of Montefiascone.
La Carrozzo d'Oro is highly recommend for some days with "Dolce Vita" and pure and slow relaxation.
I would love to return some day.
I have walked many long trails in Italy over 25 years and this was one of the coolest places I have ever stayed. It is deep in the old town of Montefiascone, is very spacious and fully supplied. Yet it has real old world ambience in its many furnished rooms. The host was very welcoming, very generous and a good communicator.
This was a real step back in time, but with all the necessary modern conveniences. I hope to return as do my two travel companions.

A beautiful guest house in the centre of the lovely historic city of Montefiascone, very clean, comfortable with an endless supply of homemade Deliciousies every day for breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay here, felt at very home from the moment I arrived. Ideal location to visit Northern Lazio and Southern Tuscany. Would recommend without any hesitation!
The B&B was in a beautiful location just outside of Montefiascone. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Laura was an extremely generous host, and the breakfast that she offered was delicious. My friend and I cannot be more grateful to Laura and her husband, and we cannot fault the property. Thank you so much.
Really exceptional room which overlooked the main square of Montefiascone. There was also a beautiful roof garden which overlooked the lake from where you could you could watch the sunset. There were cafes and restaurants very close at hand.
We would definitely stay again.
I booked few rooms in this hotel for my wedding guests. Everything was good, they had no complaints at all. The communication with the staff for the booking and the accommodation of the people was easy and effective. Perfect for my needs at that time: recommended.
Amazingly beautiful home feeling Hotel and beautiful rooms. My kids described it as the best hotel they have ever been in. Has really great features for families,f.I. Big pool, spa, outside chess, super rooms with whirlpool, great breakfast.
A very spacious and nice place, fully equipped, there’s everything you may need and much more. It is very private, in a not busy neighborhood, but close to restaurants and Montefiascone. Great place for biking trips.
Great location walking distance from Montefiascone center and restaurants. Great garden where we had a drink in the evening. Fridge available on request was a plus. Great hostess and friendly dog. Highly recommend.
Nicely decorated modern apartment in a hotel which was a former palace. Located in a beautiful ancient square at the top of the town with good access to things to see. Comfortable beds. Staff was wonderful.
The location is incredible as our room and the restaurant have I credible views over the lake.
The hotel director was incredibly sweet and kind.
The restaurant food was delicious, highly recommended.
the property was located in the heart of the town. it had all amenities needed for the 2 nights we were in Montefiascone. It was spotless and very comfortable. Allessandro was very helpful.
Pleasant stay at this 3-star hotel. We appreciated the pool, the size of the room (with a kitchen) and the kind and polite welcome of the staff. Also the free parking was appreciated.
