Guido and his aunt were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Guido gave us suggestions and information about the area every morning. He also was very accommodating of our dietary needs and made reservations at restaurants each day. We were very well taken care of. The room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the view/property were beautiful.

Had a great cooking class at Restaurante Daria. Not only learned how to make local favorites but got to eat them along with some great wines as accompaniment. And also took home a recipe book which included what we prepared.

Francesco is a lovely host at la casa di Adelina.
Francesco is a lovely host at la casa di Adelina. He immediately made us feel right at home as he showed us around the shared spaces and our private space. He also shared the fascinating history of his family and the "casa." He is a wonderful baker and prepared beautiful, delicious breakfasts each morning. He answered every question we had about the town, allowing us to explore with confidence. He made excellent recommendations. I would HIGHLY recommend a visit to charming and friendly Monticchiello and to la casa di Adelina. We hope to retun.

Monticchiello is a lovely small town in the heart of Val d'Orcia. We stayed here several days and traveled by car to other places in Toscana. There are a few good restaurants in the town and the most breathtaking view on Toscana hills.

A beautiful mountain top Tuscan hamlet.
A beautiful mountain top Tuscan hamlet. We walked around the walls and tiny streets. We ate at Dario’s where we had a delicious lunch of suckling pig. We attended a wedding at the church which was an amazing experience.

Monticchiello is such a cute village and you can't miss the local playhouse/museum - wish we'd had more time to explore it! It's the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Pienza and the Val d'Orcia but come back to a homely, less touristy home-base.

Montichiello is a small quiet village in Tuscany, Val d´Orcia. I would have loved staying here longer than one night. It was really very cosy and lovely, just like you would image Tuscany. Daria is very kind and her colleagues too,. We also had the best dinner in her restaurant.
This was such a surprise treat, we wished we could have stayed longer! The town of Monticchiello is adorable and this B&B sits up on the hillside. We had a wonderful view from our room and were able to eat dinner at their Michelin star restaurant. It was delicious and had an excellent wine selection! Debra also was able to help us with booking a tour at a winery if we wanted or a renting bikes to explore the country side. Thank you for helping make our honeymoon so special!
Well kept and clean. Breakfast prepared every morning by the host. Guido was always very helpful and accommodating. Great water pressure for showering, washing, etc. Fantastic garden area at the back with lounge chairs, a large table for eating or entertaining, along with chairs around it. It is located just down a short hill to the entrance for Monticchiello. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed it. I would not hesitate to go again if we are ever back in that area.
This place is less than six miles from Pienza and less than a mile from Monticchiello, two small hill towns you should enjoy exploring. It is a great location to use as home base to explore other hill towns in and near Tuscany, including Montepulciano, Sarteano, Cortona and Assisi. Our host, Vilmo Barbi, was quite charming and extremely proud of his farm. He is the third generation to actively work the farm. The building our apartment was in was over 100 years old.
Excellent location for day trips to Montalcino, San Quirico, Pienza and Montepulciano. And Monticchiello, the local town, is absolutely stunning. The Agriturismo is a Fantastic place! Our room was beautiful and Mino, the caretaker, was wonderful, treating us to a delicious bottle of the wine he makes from his own vineyard. We drank it sitting on our own private little terrace looking out to Monticchiello. The whole experience could not have been any more perfect!
The place/farm was situated in the beautiful Tuscany landscape in the middle of Val dOrcia close to all the small villages you want to visit. Our hostess and her daughters were absolutely gorgeous, friendly and helpful. The room was big with a beatiful view, comfortable bed and lots of hot water for good showers. We stayed for four nights and the breakfast was excellent with a new surprising hot dish every morning. Most products produced on the farm.
Fantastic view out over the countryside.
Brilliant shower and comfy bed.
Quiet & relaxing. Lots of places to visit nearby… Pienza, Montepulciano etc
Got taxi from Chiusi Terme train station to Monticchielo at the Taxi rank outside, for a very good price of €62.
Sara, the owner, was extremely helpful & answered every text immediately & with good advice. It was a comfort knowing she was there to help with any issues if needed. Thank you.
The owners are really great people!
The breakfast was delicious
Villa is located literally at the gates of Monticchiello, which gives you a great choice of having the bottle of wine in the garden, or go to one of the few restaurants.
The rooms were clean, the garden was beautiful and well taken care of, the villa has a really nice interior design
We had an amazing time at Villa PoliFlora. Received warm welcome from the hosts with homemade pie and other delicacies. The house is super cozy and very well equipped for long stays. Everything looks even better than in the photos. Nice mini market and restaurants nearby in the beautiful surroundings. Very much recommended.
Inside the medieval town of Monticchiello.
Very complete apartment in a good location.
Great bathroom with shower working very well.
Parking is free and it is located outside of the medieval city, about 250m before the entrance gate.
Fantastic location on top of a hill with stunning views across to Montepulciano, Pienza and on a clear day even Montalcino.
Staff amazing and the hospitable warm welcome was fabulous. It makes a huge difference.
Dinner was lovely.
Amazing property and hospitality. This place is magical. Beautiful, authentic. The location is outstanding, in the middle of some of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany (Pienza, Monticcello and Montepulciano).
Daria is lovely, the hotel is lovely, the town is lovely. Their restaurant is in another building 1 min away from the hotel and they make Michelin star worthy food. The best experience was having dinner there.
we've got a chance to see the stunning beautiful landscape of Pienza, this very hotel has a great team who provide detailed and kindly services with all your need come true
A beautiful property with so many amenities too countless to list. It’s a perfect accommodation in a precious Tuscan village. Francesco and his family are perfect hosts!
