Hotel Excelsior is a few steps from Pavia Train Station and the city centre. It features elegant rooms with parquet floors and LCD TV. Came to hotel earlier than my expected stay with my husband in order to try to see a doctor. Was unable to do much for myself due to an injury but the staff was gracious and very helpful. I couldn’t have picked a better place to try and recover.

Situated in Pavia, 33 km from Forum Assago, UniHo Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. I would recommend this hostel, it felt actually felt like a hotel and the staff were nice. Very clean spacious room perfect for what we needed. The bathroom has a bath which was also nice.

Pavia
Pavia Ostello offers accommodation with free WiFi in Pavia, a 10-minute drive from Piazza Castello Square. Guests enjoy a shared lounge at the property. My 15 day stay was really great. But more than the stay I enjoyed the time with new people who are studying the same university and the common area is the place I enjoyed a lot.
Pavia
Located opposite Pavia Cathedral, Le Stanze del Cardinale offers rooms and apartments in a historic building with antique paintings and décor. Free WiFi is available throughout. Charming property, great attention by the owner (we received a room upgrade, getting a wonderful attic overlooking Pavia's rooftops and the cathedral, and he offered the possibility to have breakfast in his other property, the luxury hotel at the glass-domed gallerias nearby, which was a unique experience being by ourselves in the huge ballroom). The room was tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable, with a stylish separate shower (careful not to shoot the water jet out towards the bed though!) and an upper level with an extra bed we didn't use. We were also offered an extra table and whatever else we needed to have dinner in the room, which we decided to turn down since the existing furniture was enough - this was prompted because of the covid-related restrictions which mean restaurants are takeaway only after 6 pm, and was very appreciated. Super comfortable bed for a peaceful night's sleep, especially since the acoustic insulation is so good: Sunday morning there was farmer's market just opposite the hotel in the main town square, yet we couldn't hear the slightest noise! The price is a bit steep, especially considering the low season and breakfast not being included during the current pandemic restrictions, but it's also true other options in Pavia weren't really much lower even in the outskirts.
Pavia
Affittacamere Pavia is located 650 metres from Pavia Train Station and offers free Wi-Fi throughout and a terrace. Super Nice Staff, Worked Flawlessly and rooms very nice.
Pavia
Housed in a late 19th-century building in Pavia historic centre, Arnaboldi Palace features a 100-m2 terrace and is furnished with antiques. Free bikes and free WiFi access are available to guests. Everything was beautiful and amazing. Deceptive from the outside. Once you enter, it is truly worth every bit of it. The furnishings, the art, the chandeliers - it was fun to be a small part of it. Beds were comfortable, rooms and baths roomy and spacious. Close, easy walk to most sights. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They helped us with our luggage and parked our car in a garage. They gave recommendations for great restaurants and made a reservation for us for dinner. We had wine in the ballroom, and they brought out appetizers. We felt pampered. A truly unique and fun experience. I only wish I had known more about it before, as we would have stayed more than 1 night. Enjoyed the town as well.

If you plan to visit Milan, visit this lovely town for a day or two! It has a lot of interesting places to go for a walk and opportunities for a scavenger hunt! The people living there are very kind and helpful! For an authentic Italian dinner, visit "Il Piccolo Arcobaleno" pizzeria.
Small city with a calm and nice flair combined with history (university, cathedral, bridge) and good food. Try out the risotto typical for that area. If you are in a rush, one day is enough to see everything.
Beautiful historical city with warm receptive people. I stay around University of Pavia. It was a very busy and lively environment, surrounded by shopping malls in the major streets leading to the wide open city centre.
Pavia is a beautiful place to stroll around and enjoy life. Great food, shopping and art, together with extremely kind people. Besides the Certosa, 7 min train away, the Castle and main churches are well worth a visit. Even the station café is good. Plus you're about 40 min away from Milan's Duomo.
I travelled for work, and first few days Pavia appeared as quite boring small city in the plain full of churches and hospitals. When I start to explore I realised it is much more to discover, it is nice to get lost in the medival streets, there is impresive castle, great plazzas, large wild park in the north of the city and long path alongside the river. To many mosquitos. Good connections with train elswhere.
Pavia has a very old and prominent university. The many students give life to the city. I would dedicate one day to see the main attractions. During summer, weather is quite warm and many mosquitoes can be a problem.
Pavia
During my first stay at this property in Pavia, I stayed in the "loft" room, which was fantastic. It was very spacious, and I was able to do some light cooking in the kitchen. The bed upstairs is very comfortable, and I felt very safe there as a solo traveler. The host is just exceptional, and I enjoyed getting to know her. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Pavia. My son is studying there at the university a few blocks away, so it was the perfect location to visit.
the staff were excellent. the location was central to the sights and restaurants. a well maintained hotel and we would stay there again. the bed was very comfortable. better than most hotels we have stayed in Italy which are normally too firm. the staff gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. Osteria Madonna is great and Lino was one of the best Michelin 1 star restaurant we have ever ate at. Both recommended by the staff.
Pavia
The room was much bigger than expected and everything was very clean. Conveniently located close to the Pavia train station in a quiet neighborhood. The bed was really comfortable even with my bad back. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the city center.
Pavia
The owner was incredibly helpful. Even when her hotel was booked, she made calls to help me find a room. The following day, when a room became available, she and her husband were both extremely accommodating and warm. The hotel is beautiful.
The facility was clean, modern. Bed very comfortable. Lots of activities there on the grounds. Pool Great parking, always a problem in Pavia. 10 minutes or so by car from center of town. Good breakfast in the morning. Very quiet.
Pavia
We are family of 4. The huge bedroom suit us all to have a good night sleep. Super nice staff make sure everything is fine. Great breakfast and so good italian coffee. Have to come back if we back to Pavia.
Good location close to the station and the centre of Pavia. The room was comfortable enough once we had been given the controlloer for the aircon but the bathroom was small and in need of refurbishment.
This property has higher standards than most of other places in Pavia. Very well equipped, comfortable, practical, good internet. Parking was easy across the road and free!
The hotel location is very convenient, very close to the train station and the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
