Valentina and her team went above and beyond for us. They graciously kept the restaurant open for us on our first night, understanding our unexpected travel situation and the fact that we were traveling with our young daughter, leaving us unable to eat earlier. They offer a homemade breakfast with a wide variety of options to choose from, and their homemade dishes are not only delicious but also prepared with great care and love. The staff members were fantastic; they provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and helped us navigate the area. We really enjoyed talking to them. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, with a beautiful garden that included a small slide, making it perfect for children. Every morning, our daughter had a blast there, collecting little stones and sticks.

La casa dì Nonno, hotel in Pelago

Boasting garden views, La casa dì Nonno offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 15 km from The Mall Luxury Outlet.

We were fascinated by friendly acceptance and care from the host. Laura reacted immediately on our small problems during the stay. The location of the apartment is exceptional, with the perfect view on the mountains and olive grooves. We stayed in the apartment for three weeks and found it quite comfortable. There is a good transport connection to Florence. Attitude from the local people of the community was absolutely positive, we really felt ourself at home.

There is nothing special about Pelago.

There is nothing special about Pelago. It is located in the middle of nowhere, it does not have much facilities - only a simple grocery shop, a pharmacy and a bakery with poor selection. The scenery is nice, however, with the Tuscanian hills surrounding the village.

The best thing about it - the view from the balcony. It is really beautiful. As for the place - it is (what I'm assuming) a regular Italian family house. Not a modern hotel-style room with new furniture, so don't expect that. It's a charming old home with a great view. The hosts (an Italian couple) were lovely and suggested a nice pizza place not far from them. The stay overall was a great way to experience Italian way of living (the food, the restaurant, the house and the view from the balcony).

experience is incredible here. there’s an on-site restaurant but also walking distance fastidie food. I am so happy I spent a day outside of downtown to take in the views and vibe of Florence. the trip to the hotel is stunning and down just the same. highly recommend taking a day or two away from the busyness off downtown Florence.

The host was very friendly, he helped us find a taxi and talked to the taxi driver in Italian so that we could get to his place safely! Also, the next morning, he dropped us off at the train station free of charge. The breakfast was also amazing and the rooms were very nice and clean! It's even better than staying at a hotel.

Pluses: nice people, very clean and tidy, huge comfortable beds and pillows, free parking spots near the hotel, great scenery. Minuses: breakfast which was way below average and a real waste of money: poor quality of products, no fruits or vegetables etc. If i hadn't bought breakfast I would have put 10 for my stay.

The hotel is in a good location but you really need a car to get to it. It is within walking distance of a small town with supermarket, bar etc and not too far from Florence. We enjoyed the pool. The staff were very helpful and there was a good buffet breakfast although there was very limited hot food available.

Really nice location, clean rooms and very spacious. The breakfast was really good and the staff very friendly. The water in the pool was quite cold. There is a parking place at the location with no additional costs. The hotel is about 45 minutes from Florence city center.

The hotel is really nice. The breakfast was good and the room was comfortable and clean. If you are arriving late on Monday's please be aware that there isn't any restaurant or take away open so you need to travel by car to another town (approx 6 km).

We were made to feel so welcome by Adriano and the rest of the team, who work so hard to give their guests a great experience. The location and hotel are beautiful. It’s incredibly chilled and peaceful. We will definitely go back.
